Sharp plastic edges around the seat. Returned this and ended up getting a munchkin seat topper and a separate stool, which ended up being cheaper and easier to deal with than a bulky ladder/seat combo.

Our 2.5 year old wanted to start using the big potty and we were looking for options that were safe easy for him to do himself and also that it just worked. We didn’t want to do the seat insert and a step stool because it’s a two step process and with potty training every second matters! Our son was able to lift the seat and push this on and get on in a timely manner! I have had no issues with it the step is a perfect height and adjustable, the handles help him get up fast and safe and the seat does not wiggle and make him feel insecure! Hands down should be a staple!

I like the fact that it folds up nicely and I am able to store on the side of the toilet making it really convenient. Super easy to set up. The product is also surprisingly really stable. My son enjoys the independence that allows him to climb up the stairs (which he loves!) and sit on the big people toilet. We still have a long way to go with potty training but this product has really helped my son warm up to the idea.

No more potty seats that need to be dumped and washed out. It has been so helpful. It was so simple to assemble as well. The only negatives I have to say about it is sometimes the feet slip on tile floor so you just need to be careful. It’s also larger than just a foldable potty seat that goes on top of the toilet but I don't mind because she can at least step up herself rather than needing me to lift her.

We like that this toilet topper just sits on top of our toilet seat- very easy to assemble and we don’t have to take off the entire existing seat. It is easy to move if an adult needs to use the toilet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toilet ladder is so easy to set up and put away. My daughter loves using it and she can bring it the other restrooms by herself. She’s a toddler. It’s also easily foldable and tucked into the corners.

It makes potty training much more comfortable for my toddler. He nor I have to hold him up while using the bathroom, and the built in step allows him to get up and down from the toilet with ease on his own. I also love that when not in use, it just folds down and can be easily stored. Using this toilet topper has made my toddler really feel like he is a big boy.

My 2 year old immediately wanted to climb up on it and sit on the potty. She loves being able to be more independent and it has increased her interest in wanting to use the potty. I like that it is also sturdy enough for my 5 year old to use if she doesn’t feel like moving it.

My two year old is not big enough yet to get on a regular toilet but loves trying to be independent. He could climb up with no problem and the reduced toilet seat size was helpful with his stability. The product is easy to clean. The only thing is that it feels like too many steps (no pun intended) to get the job done. My husband and I both agreed that it’s easier just to pull out son’s pants down and place him on the potty than have to set this up for him and then let him climb up. But if you can dedicate one toilet to your toddler or your child demands to do it themselves, it may be better used. I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If your starting to potty train your kids I definitely recommend this because it will be easier for your toddler to use the toilet and they won’t fall in it because the opening is smaller for them. My kids love it they have fun while using it, it’s easy and fun for them to go potty. The assembly it’s also very easy and fast you don’t need any tools it comes with everything you need to assemble I would highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great training tool. It gives littles ones the independence and confidence to go on their own. It's even great for my fly trained toddler and keeps mess more minimal as she and her younger brother sit mire accurately and confidently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so easy to assemble and take apart if you do it backwards (whoops) probably only took me about 10 minutes. It is adjustable to your toilets height as well. My toddler was able to climb up easily and get back down easily thanks to the step. Took some adjusting to get it just right but as soon as I did, I tightened it up so it stayed in the perfect position! Yes, I would recommend.

It’s definitely a learning curve for my toddler though because she’s learning to climb it and getting comfortable. Definitely nice to have though when she has something to hold on to.
