Q: Does it have a fan option!

A: What?!? In one of the photos, the box shows “Fan Mode” (can’t read the fine print), but a Dreo rep has responded, saying there’s no fan mode. Which is correct?

Q: Does this automatoc shut off when it reach the temperature that it's set on?

A: That's how a thermostat works. It turns off the heater when temperature gets above the set temperature. And just like manual shut off, the heating is turned off while the fan runs for 15 more seconds.

1. This heater just does not work for me/us. It does not heat an area of a room, operated at considerable time, to any remarkable extent. 2. Size: It is about 6" iin diameter and about knee high for the shortest adults in the house at ~16". 3. It topples over with little provocation and does not shut off immediately. 4. In spite of not heating an area as I expected, it's also surprisingly warm ("hot!" I would say) on the front where the air blows out. So no kids getting access to it is best practice, 5. Control panel is virtually invisible. Have a flashlight handy. Imagine an unlighted dark gray circlular outlines arranged three over three on black, set within a small area. Dumb & dumber. 6. Said "controls" are unnecessarily complicated and not super intuitive. 7. As It's short and black, it can be just about invisible depending on surroundings, so for that reason, those who aren't looking to avoid it may brush it or stumble over it. An antenna with a smiley face attached to the back as a warning? I bought three and am completely unimpressed.

I love this heater! I use the remote from bed to warm up my room before I get up, and within a few minutes, it’s already toasty. The oscillation really spreads the heat, so it doesn’t just hit one spot. Timer feature is great too – no worries about accidentally leaving it on all day!

So far it is working, but I've had it for only 1 week. Memory function doesn't work EXACTLY as described though. It retains memory "once turned on again", but if you cut the power to it and plug it back into the outlet, you have to press the "on" button and set the temp etc. That prevents me from using a temp controlled outlet closer to where I am in the room. An older model (different mfg) had a remote that included a temperature sensor IN the remote. That way I could put the remote on my nightstand and have the heater away from the bed. BTW, for safety reasons, that one would turn off if the remote did not stay within the line-of-site of the heater. The Dreo heater (and all others I can find) sense the temperature in the vicinity of the heater. That's okay IF you have a small room. The Dreo heater has a mute button - Can't figure out what it does as the heater does not "beep".

It's just getting colder here in Buffalo, about 40 overnight. We've entered the stage of "how long can I resist turning the furnace on?" Well this little guy currently is keeping my 950sq ft ranch house a comfortable 70 degrees. I have it placed in the livingroom which is in the center of the house. Bedroom and bathroom doors open. The description says it'll heat up to 300 sq ft, but my entire house is comfortable! It's so quiet too! When I first turned it on I thought "no way is this going to heat this 300sq ft livingroom" I was so wrong. This one can't be beat. Don't hesitate on this heater. Small but mighty.
