You hold needle eye side down in tube (so you stab your 1st hand repeatedly) then try to balance thread next to tube with 2nd hand & push lever (with 3rd hand?). Occasionally lever grabs thread & forms loop but it never threads needle. This might work with big needle & long thread but I'm trying to thread small-eyed needle. At least cheap wire threaders work: even if they break quickly they're cheaper to buy in bulk & get the job done without pain or aggravation.

Each needle comes in its own container that's labeled with what type it is which is incredibly convenient. It also has a double sided large and small eye threader making threading very simple. Great for any level sewer.
