I bought based on advertising. I was disappointed with the size of the cane. While it purports to support a larger person, the diameter of the cane is very small. Not like a standard cane. In use it does not feel stable. It easily gets out of balance when standing alone. I am didappointed. I would have paid more for a quality cane.

The first one I bought for my husband was 7 years ago. The handle and tread wear was worn out real good, so I got him a whole new one. So glad you still make quality canes for folks who need them.

I was coming out of theater last week using this cane, I accidentally stepped on the wide base and when I went to move the cane, it came apart when I tried to replant it for balance it was like nothing was there because it had come apart like when u fold it, fell down before I could get my balance back!! very risky cane! It is easy to step on the base unlike regular canes! These are very dangerous and should be removed from the market!

I have been using Hurrycane for years. I bought it originally because it came in PURPLE! I love that its's more stable than my old cane, it folds so I can put it in a grocery cart with my purse, or stow it easily on an airplane or on my lap in a wheelchair, and it's PURPLE! I've unfortunatately left it behind a few times, it was even stolen once. Now I keep a spare, as I never want to be without it. I highly recomend it, for its stability, portability and choice of colors!

I like the straight handle as opposed to curved one you offer. Love purple color. The price is very reasonable. The walking pads are sturdy; and it stands up on its own! Easy to adjust height.

I had a Hurricane my daughter bought me and I loved it. The rubber o on the handle peeled off but was still usable. The handle then was made of metal. I accidentally left it somewhere and when I went back to get it , it was gone. My daughter bought me a new one and I was walking around with it and the handle split making it difficult to use. The new handle is rubber coated plastic held together by a screw. If it was not for the plastic handle it is a great cane.

This is my second Hurrycane as I keep one in my car and one in my condo and I am very happy with them. They are very stable and make walking safer.

My phys therapist recommended one for me as a I was recovering from hip replacement and I’m glad I bought one. These cost (only a little) more than regular cane, but are very much worth it. The mere fact that you can set it down without the cane falling over is worth it, plus very comfortable and easy to use. Super-easy to put together and adjust.

I love the color but sadly I couldn't give 5 stars because it doesn't stand up straight. I got it based on the fact it's supposed to stand on its own, and because it's the best color (purple). If it weren't for it tipping over all the time I'd would've given 5 stars.

I picked up one of your canes at a local store when I got away from home without grabbing one of my other canes. I've been using it when there is snow and slushy conditions that I would rather not subject my wood canes to. I just wish you offered this with a derby style handle. I find a derby handle has a much more comfortable feel than this fritz style. I did figure out the issue with trying to get the cane to stand on its own that others had mentioned. I've had the best luck with it standing on its own if you make sure the handle is in line with one of the legs of the feet.

I bought my first one a few years ago... After close to a year I had to replace the feet which only took a minute and a Phillip's screwdriver. Easy to store when not in use as it folds down to roughly 8 - 10 inches...

This is my 3rd Hurricane. I've used them for years and like them more than any other cane I've used. I'm surprised that part of the advertisements that I've seen don't include info on how easy it is to retrieve the cane if you drop it. Just gently press with your foot on the top corner of the base and the stick will stand up for you to grab the handle.
