I've used this product for years. Always a staple, go through at least 1 can per month. Over the last 6 months, every usage has left my hair greasier than before I applied. It no longer has that powder-like spray, it instead sprays a clear-wet residue. Some of the cans have even frozen up before it was halfway empty. I kept thinking it was an isolated problem, that I got a faulty can but, I'm now on my 3-4th attempt and have tossed every one.

I got a sample in a beauty box or some kind of set many years ago, and it was the best dry shampoo I'd ever tried. When I could finally afford to buy a full size a couple years ago, it was completely different and didn't work nearly the same. So I had to search for a new favorite. I was disappointed to say the least.

Batisse & Not your mothers have given me better results with oil control, volume, scent and easy to work into hair!
This leaves me with a chalky thick white residue every use & my hair is flat, & oily by mid day.
Expected better results with Drybar honestly.

Drybar dry shampoo had always been my go to. I felt like i didnt have to use as much. It blended well with my dark hair and didnt leave whitw residue. With that beinf said, I have been disappointed with my recent purchase and felt it wasn't the same. Upon researching for some other dry shampoos i read the reviews for drybar to find others have also been recently disappointed.

Thid has been my go-to and favorite for 5+ years. No longer. The new formula is awful. It doesn't absorb oil and it no longer adds volume. Its just a wet spray… its line you can't shake it enough. Do not waste your money!

This use to be my go to dry shampoo. I had been using it for years and I use to stock up whenever it went on sale. Whatever formula change they did makes my hair look worse after using it! Why change a formula that everyone was happy with.

This was my favorite dry shampoo for a long time and really worked well, unfortunately, they have changed it and now it does not work at all. It actually almost seems like it makes my hair look worse. Returning and finding a new brand!

I have bought countless bottles of this. I have highlighted hair with oily roots and love the absorbtion and even the slight lightening of my roots from the powder. It's Holy Grail and I thought I would never need to purchase another product elsewhere. But my last bottle is spraying nothing but liquid and making my hair look no different if not worse. There must have been a formula change! Unfortunately I will need to return this. PLEASE keep the original AS IS! I'm begging!!!

I really like tbis product, but my last two cand didn't work properly and left a ton of product behind after the aerosol part ran out. Frustrsted and waste od money, hope they fix this.

The formula has changed the the scent is different, and the powder is kind of taupe in color whereas before it was kind of white and then disappeared into your hair. I am so sad about this change.

I love this when it works. But the last 2 I've gotten dont actually clean my hair, they were either old or messed up during production - my hair looked even dirtier after using. This is too expensive to gamble on will it/won't it work each time I buy so unfortunately ill be switching to another brand.

Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo used to be my absolute go-to, but unfortunately, the formula has changed, and it just doesn't work for me anymore. It no longer delivers the results I used to love, and I feel like I've wasted my money. I truly wish they would bring back the old formula, which was far superior. In the meantime, I've switched to Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo, and it's a much better alternative. Drybar, please bring back the original formula!

I used this for YEARS. I'd buy a dozen bottles at a time when it would go on sale, and I used it daily. I'm a once-a-week hairwash girly and this dry shampoo made life good. I loved it. DryBar must have changed the formula because not only does it fail to absorb oil, but it makes my hair even more oily. :/ So disappointing.
