Description
Long-length ceramic barrels hold large sections of hair and evenly distribute heat to create big, bouncy curls with tons of volume, less frizz and added shine. Two different barrel sizes allow for customized styling on all hair lengths to achieve the look of a perfect blowout.
FOR USE ON DRY HAIR. Work in 1.5-2” (3.8-5 cm), detangled sections. Position the roller horizontally and wrap hair around the barrel and roll from ends to roots. Secure each roller at the root with a creaseless clip. Repeat throughout all sections. For long-lasting and best results, let hair set in the rollers until cooled.
TO REMOVE:When the color change indicator turns red, rollers are cooled, and hair is set*. Remove the creaseless clip. Gently unroll and twist roller until the ends release. Repeat throughout all sections. Gently rake through curls to soften and style as desired.
*Setting and cooling time will vary, depending on hair type and length
PRO STYLIST TIPS:
- For defined waves and curls and shorter layers, use the smaller, 1.25” barrels.
- For big, bouncy curls with tons of volume, use the larger, 1.5” barrels.
- For maximum volume and lift at the root, roll hair onto the barrel then position the roller horizontal at the crown. Over direct the section slightly forward, then secure with a clip. Repeat throughout the crown area.

This product is just okay. I have fine hair and this after an hour or so these curls fall flat. Rollers are heavy and I have a tough time leaving them in and moving about as they do not stay in place well. That said, the rollers do hold a great deal of hair and doing my hair is pretty quick. I do wish that they had some sort of cover to insulate the heat as well. My drug store curlers do a better job. This gives more of a blow out volume look, which is nice, but if you're looking to keep curls throughout the day, I'd suggest going with another product.
Literally the most damaging hair tool I've ever used.

I have been in the beauty industry for close to 25 years. When I say this was the worst thing I've ever used on my hair, I'm not lying. First off, i'm in my late 40's. I've been around the block with hot rollers. It was all we used in the 90's. I had multiple ones and they lasted! But this?? The curlers are heavy, the clips don't hold them in place and the combo makes the curlers fall to the side/out of place. But the worst part was they are WAY to hot. I burned my scalp to the point where I had to seek medical attention and get an ointment for the burn. (And clearly by the reviews I'm not the only one.) I would like to attach a photo but Ulta isn't letting me but trust my word. Obviously I returned it and sent Drybar an email to inform them of the situation (which in all my years working in cosmetics I have never reached out to company/manufacturing but this is straight up dangerous.)
I wouldn't buy this again

Didn't heat up as much I expected it to. Also didn't curl my hair at all. Will be returning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are HEAVY and difficult to use. The clips don't properly hold the rollers in place and leave ridges in the hair. For them to have a full effect, you should roll the entire length of the strand into it, and it will burn your ears and scalp. Overall terrible product.

I wanted to try these forever i finally bought them only to return them. They are very heavy and leave kinks in the hair where you apply the clamp. I tried to wrap it differently 3 times and EVERYTIME i had a weird kink at the root of my hair.
Disappointing product for the price

So I was hoping to use this for travel because it came with a soft case instead of a plastic one. I liked the fact that that the rollers were flocked which helps make my hair more manageable and less frizzy. The rollers were too heavy for traveling and did not seem to get very hot. Sadly I returned them.
I would not buy them or recommend to anyone with thin gene h

These did not work for me as my hair is way too thin and fine to use them. Tried to put them in my hair but after first two rollers they burned my scalp and I had to quickly remove them. Unfortunately I returned them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great great greaaaat product! I have med-thick hair that is past my lower back. I was initially skeptical that the set would be enough to curl all my hair but the longer rollers really did the trick and leave my hair full of volume and curled all day!

These are extremely heavy on the head! Very uncomfortable! While I love the large size and was looking forward to the volume it would give my fine hair, these left me very dissatisfied. At first I didn't think they were heating up very fast...but don't worry about that, they get extremely hot. Almost burning my scalp! While you have to be careful where you place the clips to avoid crimps I do think the clips work well. I could only keep them in for ten minutes because they were so heavy and felt like they were stressing my scalp/hair follicles. I do like the results they gave my hair just fine but SO not worth the pain! Please, Dry Bar, make them lighter weight!! I beg of you!

Got a set of these for my daughter for Christmas, and she loves them! She says they are so easy to use and give her long wavy hair beautiful, soft curls. She also loves the travel/storage bag that comes with the set -makes it easy to store or looks nice left out on the counter. Might have to get a set for me. . . !

The clips don’t hold the rollers in place. The top roller for my bangs falls forward onto my forehead and they definitely left creases. Disappointed.

I thought these would be the best on the market because of the high price tag, but I recommend the othet leading brand over this. Rods are heavy and do not get very hot. I returned them.

I loved hot rollers in the past and I couldn't wait to try these out. But I didn't get a good curl (clean conditioned hair with heat protector) and the rollers are so heavy that even after one use, there are many strands of my hair on every one of them. They both do not curl up tight to the scalp AND feel too hot near my scalp, and when I leave them in. They flop around and hurt. My friend with straight hair had the same issues. NO.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excepting more from these hot rollers. Rollers are heavy, and as others have commented, they leave a ridge in hair I find the curl does not last as I hoped.

I wanted to love these so bad. The rollers are way too heavy and even with the clips they don’t stay in your hair. They keep falling and don’t stay in place. I have to keep rerolling. There are only two size rollers. Not worth the price at all!!!

I returned them. Absolutely not for fine thin hair. They burn your scalp, heavy , fall loose , and dont stay on tight like hot rollers should. Maybe if you have thick hair, but even then, for the price , meh , you're paying for the "drybar" name . Thank you Ulta for having a fabulous return policy.
