The old bottle style was WAY BETTER! The newer bottle makes it so much harder to get soap out. The scent isn't as strong as it used to be. Super disappointed as this is one of mine and my boyfriends favorite brand. Do better.

Smells great, certainly am gonna miss the big bottle as this is the last I've seen at my store but will still be buying.

So happy this returned and also like the new packaging

Not only did they change the bottle to a worse design that makes it harder to squeeze out vs the ez squeeze style of the old bottle, they changed the scent too . It's so weak compared to the original and it doesn't smell exactly the same either. The OG was so much better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As great as the THICK Body Wash is, I probably won’t be buying Duke Cannon anymore simply because of the new packaging. These bottles make it way more difficult to get the soap out than the old bottles and it’s just not worth the hassle. Unfortunate, because I really liked this stuff.

Hands down the best body wash out there- you don't need to use much at all, and it leaves your skin feeling hydrated and smooth. Lasts FOREVER too.

Smells good. Does not dry skin out. Rinses clean, but keeps a fresh scent after rinsing.

It doesn’t smell or lather quite as good as its predecessor. The old bottle was also easier to get the body wash out of. Wish I liked the new version more - loved the previous version!

New formula and packaging ruined the product. Scents and ingredients are different. Packaging not being able to see how much product is left sucks. Opening for body wash to go through is too small for how thick the body wash is. There was no reason to alter the formula and give us inferior packaging.

Yup, still angry. Everytime I get out of the shower now I am frustrated. I had a product I loved. The scent was great, the amount of suds were excellent. I keep trying this “refreshed” body wash and I don’t like it. It doesn’t sud up the way the old one did, it’s just flat, and the scent…I don’t even know how to describe it. I was advised the scent changed because the old one didn’t last. I never had a problem with my old midnight swim or naval diplomacy body wash scent. It was strong and it was defined. Now midnight swim smells like plastic and vaguely like fruit or plant. Then it doesn’t last after the shower. This feels like a complete PE move to save shelf space and manufacture for cheaper. I’m sorry DC…I love you guys and will try the brick soap instead but this new body wash scent and suds amount is not cutting it.

I just wanted to update on my previous review. It is a bit more difficult to get the body wash out of the new packaging. Before, it definitely came out THICK. I got plenty of suds, now it doesn’t seem to be as sudsy. I also just can’t tell what the smell is, where before, the bottle described the scent perfectly (big user of midnight swim and naval diplomacy). It also seems like there was a shift away from the original brand messaging with fruit and softer plant descriptors (the change of sea grass to lavender and I think it was aquatic musk to Mandarin?). Again, these are my opinions, not sure why I’ve been thinking so much about it haha maybe because for 5 years I’ve loved the product and marketing! Overall, still supporting the brand, thank you!

It pains me to say, I just bought 7 of the midnight swim body wash in the new brand refresh, but I did not realize the scent also changed. At least I believe it did? Midnight Swim used to be more bold and defined in the scent, now something seems a bit off? Maybe more of a floral scent? I’m not a scent expert, but I can say I miss the old scent and the larger bottle where I felt like I could squeeze more body wash out at once. On the other hand, the new packaging is very nice and more refined - and you can also more easily control the amount that comes out. Overall, I just want the old scent back! I still use all Duke Cannon products (body wash, deodorant, shampoo, cold shower, and beard wash! and I put em to work!
