Several years ago I bought a BLT sandwich from a fancy deli in a wine country destination in Sonoma County, California. I had never had such a delicioius BLT as tomatoes were still in season and the bread was a hearty multi-grain. As I left the cafe I walked by the kitchen and noticed a huge tub of Duke's Real Mayonnaise. That was the magic ingredient. I've been obsessing about getting some of that terrific mayonnaise ever since. And lo and behold, I discovered I could order it on-line. I'm now the proud owner of two jars and we are having our last homemade BLT of the season with my home-grown tomatoes and Duke's. I'm very excited!!!

We used to be able to get Duke's at our local supermarket, but they suddenly stopped carrying it. We have requested that they get it back, but in the meantime, I wanted to order some because we enjoy it so much. I was introduced to it by my daughter-in-law, who lives in VA. It's a more eggy mayo, without the acid taste of some others. Love it!
