The last time I took Ducolax was 2018 (medical testing is why I remember this stupid fact). I would agree with reviews I've seen on drugs dot com - something has changed. I did not have the consequences I suffered this time back then (and I had to take more then!?). The stomach pain was excrutiating. I used to have horrific cramps for years (female, 50s now). Those were nothing compared to this. I felt like the inside of my stomach had been scraped raw with a hot poker, was grinding together, and considered that 911 might be the answer. To note, I am not one to go to the doctor or hospital very often at all. Also, felt like I was going to pass out and just "very ill/off". I know sometimes circumstances call for desperate measures, but I would warn to try just ONE, if this medication is necessary. I took 2 since that was "middleground" and I am 6 ft tall, 170 lbs. Or, try stool softeners. To be fair, I did have liquid running out for hours, so it works, but...the misery.

Took 1 pill and with 2-3 hours bowel movements followed. It definitely works.

It’s a powerful little pill that you have to stick to instructions and console a doctor if your problem doesn’t go away 8-12 hours after taking a dose. In my personal experience, I took 1 pill before bed and when I woke the next morning it did what the brand promises and I was relieved. Throughout the years I’ve had to use this product and had success each and every time.

These pills do work, don't get my wrong but the cramps were crazy! Woke me up at 3am with twisting pains and chills. Took me a while to go back to sleep. Although they did clean me out so I'll give 2 stars for that 🤷🏻‍♀️ pain 8/10

I'm looking for something that gets things moving without feeling like I'm sick and to be there when I need it. The taste and size were good. No issues. No sickness, all was well. However I just didn't get results with it. 2 different doses and nothing. I went to my normal go to and everything was back to normal, so not sure if I needed more than this can do, or just is a weak dose. Also, and this is nit picky, but the box was very thin and crushes on every corner. The issue is that I can stand it in the medicine cabinet. I have to move it somewhere or put it in something else, so it is just not easy to make it avaliable. I think it could be good for others, but fight net my needs.

It worked for me really fast maybe like 2 hours in. But had some side effects nothing bad tho just a tad dizzy and nauseous for like maybe 30 minutes I read other reviews and most said it was bad but honestly it’s ok not the best or worst but I also just took one. It works but it’s not as “comfortable” as advertised.

For a person living with irritable bowel syndrome, I have tried many laxatives and stool softeners, and none of them worked. But today I’m happy to report that this one worked!! I have had severe constipation for over two months. Because I have IBS and I was taking different medication’s due to a major back surgery. Nothing worked. I couldn’t get any relief until I tried this laxative. The first time around it took close to 3 days to work. But when it did kick in it did its job well. Although I did end up with massive diarrhea, it was better than being stopped up for two months. The second time I tried it it worked within 12 hours. The only reason I didn’t give this product five stars is because the first time around I got severe stomach cramps. But I am use to severe stomach cramps due to the IBS. That was the only setback. I would probably recommend starting out at two pills instead of three if you don’t want massive diarrhea. I had been taking Target brand stool softener and laxative for a whole month and got zero relief. I took entire bottle for over a month straight and did get any results from it. I would 100% recommend this product. I would just probably take some ibuprofen or Tylenol when you take it that way you can help with the stomach cramps. The second time around I didn’t have any stomach cramps.

they work well and do not cause stomach cramps or discomfort from my experience. it is a natural process. however , i did not feel fully relieved and they take a while to work.

OMG , took this dur8ng the morning as I was home all day to deal with the outcome ... was not expecting to be faced with excruciating pain in stomach about 9 hrs later to the point that I had to vomit . I work in pharmacy industry .. was there no testing on humans ??? At the end of it I did manage to go to the washroom to the point of diahera I do not recommend

This is an unsafe stool softner and laxation medicine. My wife took 2 pills and had strong dizzy and almost fainted. We called 911 for an ambulance.
