Duraflame 5010 3D Infrared Freestanding Stove

Quit working after 6 months and about 2 dozen uses (if that). E3 code even though nothing blocking the vents and unit is spotless. Heater won’t engage. Now it’s just a pretty picture of moving flames.

I only had this a month and a half and now it doesn’t work. I was really sad because it’s so pretty. I’m not sure what to do. I will be calling twin star for help.

It is rather expensive but it looks better than most. The heat element is near the top which is a plus. It heats our family room very nicely. I deducted a star because for the price the remote should adjust all the functions like the thermostat. Also, to adjust you have to walk across the room open the door bend over real low to adjust the controls. Controls would be better near the top instead of at the bottom. The grey color is really nice and goes with our interior nicely. We ordered beige first hoping it would be more white as in some pictures but it looked more yellow than beige.

This worked well for a little while. But then like so many other reporting on so many other websites, this thing push the button it flickered and then never came back again. Will not work from the remote or from the unit itself. There's clearly a defect in these models and they're still selling them to people like us. They profit and then don't stand behind them. Shame on you I would not recommend this to anybody! Save your money.

Very nice heater. Using this as a supplement heater to my propane heat in my house.

Excellent construction , paint finish and color, easy to set up and use

This is my 2nd heater purchase (June 2024). Set it up and turned on. Seemed good, I didn’t check the remote working though. This remote turns it on but nothing else. Contacting CSR to see what they can do.

Purchased the Duraflame Infrared Electric Fireplace for my Sister’s birthday gift. It was easy to attach the legs and was ready for her use. It’s relaxing to watch and sends off some nice warmth.

Excellent heater. Great ambiance, gives off a lot of heat and the temperature setting feature is a plus. Doesn’t take up a lot of room and looks really nice. The gray color fits in perfectly with my gray and white furniture. Would recommend.

It was fast to be delivered 3-4 days. Packaging was well done. The heater warms up my room very well and the remote it comes with makes it so easy to switch on and off.

Looks like a lovely piece of furniture and the artificial flames give a warm cozy atmosphere to the room. The unit is functional as the warmth is constant and dependable. A good value.

I bought this for my basement office in 2021. It heated like a charm and is still working in my new house. I don’t know how those negative reviewers can carry on. This is a truly great buy!! A friend of mine loved mine and got one for her house in 2022 and uses it every day. A lovely little heater!!

Just went to turn it on and it flickered a little and nothing. chat says agents not available. Unit is less than a year old!!

Bought this heater last winter & we're still loving it. It actually takes the chill out of our house. Our house is a little over 1,400 sq ft, with the kitchen, dining, & living areas being open to each other, then there are 2 bedrooms & a bathroom off of a hall, 2nd bath in master bedroom stays cold, (but is also on the northern corner of our house. We live west of Houston, TX, so our winters aren't usually as cold as they are up north, but we pretty much used our gas central heat to take the night time chill out first thing in the mornings, & then this little heater did a great job of keeping it out; the central heat would run a few cycles on really cold days ... mostly from chill creeping into the outlying rooms ... but we were thrilled with it's performance. It didn't raise our electric bill very much, & it took a good bite out of our propane bill for the winter months. Looks nice enough that we left it in it spot & didn't pack it away in storage for the summer. We were so happy with it that we bought one for a friend who is on a very tight budget & lives in a house that is not really insulated; she loves it & still thanks us with every cold front that moves through. We are looking to buy another one to use in a room we have set up in our garage that my husband does therapy in.

We have had this fireplace for over a year. Nice even heat in 900+ sf.
