Q: Does the fan cool the room or only circulate air?

A: Hello So happy, This is Miella from Dyson. The TP07 Pure Cool Tower is not an air conditioning unit, that refrigerates the air. Rather, it cools you by moving the air over and around you. Hope this helps! Miella Dyson Customer Support

Q: How often does filter need to be changed? Have one of your original fans since 2012,am now beginning to have problems with it but don't know if I want to pay this much again as I am now on a very fix income & now live in a ALF. Thanks.

A: Hi Sher, this is Kelly with Dyson. With our air purifiers, the filter life would vary depending on how often you run the machine. If you kept the purifier on 24/7, the filter would last about 6 months. Running the machine 12 hours or so each day would give you about a year of filter life. My bedroom doesn’t have a great air vent and my room is always a bit too warm and humid (living in Texas). I was looking for a fan that could cool me off and also circulate the air in my room and WOW - this delivers. I keep it on during the day to keep the airflow going and turn it down a bit at night so it isn’t too strong. For a medium bedroom, it easily circulates the whole room and cools me down.

I just bought this product is supposed to be Brand New but the box that came in was very beat up an old. My first red flag. I bought this particular fan and waited for it to go on sale because it said it had a higher powered fan that can cool larger rooms. Even at speed 10 it can barely blow a piece of paper. I have an older Dyson fan but smaller end it has better airflow than a bigger one. It also continuously gets disconnected from the net work unlike my other fan that I’ve had for longer.

I will use the air purifier in the heating season with the widows closed most of the time and on the seasons that warrant the windows open I will revert to a regular Dyson fan as the purifier features offered by this fan will be much reduced with the windows opened.Ease of operation/scheduling from the App and Alexa

I took it back because it wouldn't oscillate. Now Dyson won't stop sending me emails even though I have selected my preference for unsubscribe numerous times. The "opt-out" of future communications doesn't work.

I bought one two weeks ago and returned it to the store. I do not have an air conditioner or central air in my apartment. With the extreme heat we have been having I have had to leave all my windows open. It clearly says on the instructions to close all your windows. I have animals. For my place it was counter productive. It would be purifying the outside air too.

I am very impressed with the TP07 after the first month of use. The unit is extremely quiet and light weight which makes moving it from room to room very easy. There is a noticeable improvement in the air quality in my home.

Best thing since sliced bread. I have an older Dyson Purifier Cool that is in the living room and takes care of the whole condo and decided to get another for my garage that is attached to the condo and the air quality is so much better and healthier in there. It also helps to keep it cooler in there on those hot days of summer and purifies the air for better quality from the exhaust, etc.

I bought a Dyson fan 4 years ago. I have a contemporary home with high ceilings. The Dyson helps fluctuate the air. I don’t deal with dusty blades because it purifies the air! So I bought 2 more. One for my basement because I workout there, and the other as a gift!!

This is a great product. Works well, love the app. Also bought the smaller HP10 and do not like that one. Not as intuitive and doesn’t work with the app. Regret buying that one but love the TP07
