Q: Does the fan cool the room or only circulate air?

A: Hello So happy, This is Miella from Dyson. The TP07 Pure Cool Tower is not an air conditioning unit, that refrigerates the air. Rather, it cools you by moving the air over and around you. Hope this helps! Miella Dyson Customer Support

Q: How often does filter need to be changed? Have one of your original fans since 2012,am now beginning to have problems with it but don't know if I want to pay this much again as I am now on a very fix income & now live in a ALF. Thanks.

A: Hi Sher, this is Kelly with Dyson. With our air purifiers, the filter life would vary depending on how often you run the machine. If you kept the purifier on 24/7, the filter would last about 6 months. Running the machine 12 hours or so each day would give you about a year of filter life. There is an alert that would pop up on the purifier display to let you know when it's time to change the filter. Best Wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Very happy. Purchased this in the hope to help my son with his asthma. We run it currently in his bedroom. He has stopped coughing daily. Not using his asthma preventer or puffer. Not sure if this is the fix but it has been the only change we have done. So we are super happy with it.

I brought this thinking best of both worlds may be good and clever sir purifier but as a fan fan it’s really weak. Changing wifi passwords or networks is a real nightmare too. Just delete the machine and add it like a new one.

I bought this a month ago. About 1 week ago it started randomly emitting a very high pitched whine/buzz which is irritating to the ears. The sound now occurs around half of the time. Extremely dissatisfied!

Unfortunately my Dyson stopped working the second day due to an unknown error. When it did work the first day, it was great, quiet and efficient. I was disappointed how easily it broke and returned it.

I have had this product for about a month. Overall I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the volume of air outflow it produces. At its strongest (air flow of 10) it just doesn’t project enough air to warrant even being called a “fan”. An air purifier it might be - a high producing fan with good outflow it is not. I was asked on the weekend about the product and whether I would recommend it - I absolutely would not. Dyson has a great reputation, they have truly missed the mark with this product. It may look stylish, and is quiet, has good information about air quality, but overall the product is so lacking, and a waste of money. Best feature is the temperature display.

Have had this for a month now to replace my old school blade fan and this fan is so much better, love how quiet it is more options for speed and also has the purifier as well. I typically use this while I sleep and truly helps for a better sleep and not loud enough to wake you up on the lower speeds. Worth the price!

Exactly right bought this a month ago because my wife its really good because its bladeless also it has filter but its disappointing gor me necause not powerful enough. I have to be at least about 2 meters away just to feel the air unlike my trusty 3 blade tower fun bought from another company you can really feel the air even if your about 5 meters away.
