Q: How long does the stain last in your lips?

A: I have to use a makeup removing balm to get it off, otherwise I wake up with it still on (even after a night of eating and drinking)

submitted byMACAVA - 3 months agoA: It doesn't last very long. Any amount of eating or drinking fades it unevenly and it looks bad. Use it to experiment with colors but don't use ELF as your main lip stain.

Q: Do these lip stain glosses come with safety seals on the lipgloss? Or does it just come in the lipgloss packaging with no safety seals?

A: I've bought 3 colors (great stuff!!) for a total of 6 separate purchases, and none have had any sort of seal on the gloss. e.l.f. team, you might want to check on that.

I bought the shade "pinkies up" a few weeks ago and loved it but when I tried to restock I got a totally different color. It doesn't look that different in the tube but it went from a pinky nude to just straight pink. Very disappointing bc I loved the first color I had and don't know if it was a fluke or what. 🙁

These lip stains are some of my favorite lip stains i’ve ever bought, which as a lip stain girlie i have bought A LOT. And let me tell you these don’t budge, they are the perfect colors, and they are just such a great deal price wise. 100% recommend!!!

I really love this lip stain, it has nice stay power and keep lips hydrated. I just think that more colors could and should be added, especially bright colors for spring/summer. I personally like bright colors all year round. I tried to like the lip oils, but no matter what brand lip oils always break my lips out.

i have the shades pinkies out and power mauves, though i think the pinkies out was mislabeled because the one i have looks much more like basic beige. anyway, i love the gloss and the stain, but they need a better bottle! when i realized i wasn’t getting much more i removed the stopper and literally like 3/4 of the bottle was still there. i have to use another wand just to apply it now. other than that, great product!

Love this lip stain! I'm not one for usually doing much to my lips in my everyday makeup routine, but this has added the little pop of color I never knew I needed. Pinkies up is my favorite, leaving a slight rosy color even when the gloss fades away. Easy to reapply and the packaging is great for on the go!

This is honestly so good! I love it, all the colours are amazing and work so so well. It’s not as glossy as you’d expect, more of a balm that tints your lips but it’s perfect in my opinion.
