Description
The Eco Dream Metal Platform Bed Frame fully supports your mattress without using a box spring, and gives you 14" of under bed storage space instead. Constructed of 100% steel, this sturdy platform bed frame supports up to 1200 lbs. The frame fits inside a traditional bed frame in place of slats and can be assembled in minutes with no tools required. Simply fold up and easily carry through tight hallways, stairwells or elevators. This bed frame is compatible with the Empire Headboard and Footboard Bracket - sold separately.

Q: Does this frame squeak or creak after a while or at all? Our current box spring is soooo creaky and loud, getting in and out of bed is annoying.

A: Ours does not squeak. It creaks a little bit, but that may be from my kids jumping up and down on it,

Q: Is there any kind of lip around the edge or at the corners to prevent the mattress from sliding around/off?

A: No, there isn't a lip around the edge, but we've had ours for nearly two years and never had an issue with slippage.

A: No, this metal platform base does not adjust between sizes. A king size frame would be too large for a queen size mattress.

Q: If i use my bed frame (headboard, footboard and rails, can this be placed inside of the frame? Would I buy a queen or full size if my bed is a queen size( if I intended on putting it inside the entire bed frame)?

A: Yes, the Empire Headboard Foot Board Bracket for 14 and 18 inch Platform Bed Frames is the bracket that is designed to work with this frame. It is universal and can be used with any standard headboard.

Easy to put together. It literally takes 5 minutes. However, once put together the middle bar down the center can be felt through a 12" mattress. It's extremely uncomfortable. I am returning it.

So far so good, I have had it for about a week or so. I moved in to an old home and my box spring wouldn't fit up the stairs, so I had to order something in a pinch. Got to me in under a week. Very easy to carry the box up the stairs and assemble. Has been sturdy, no noise or give to it. I may be singing a different tune as it ages, but I love it now!

This was a great bed frame for about a year then the center supports broke off cleanly at the weld points. This is a Cal King frame and I am right at 200 pounds so I am not over the capability of the frame. Do not buy.

Lightweight but sturdy. Perfect for small stairways to get up to second floor without problems. Easy to set up and love the ample room under the bed. Comes in 2 fold up pieces that connect so easily and quickly.
