Q: can you use these to wash laundry in the sink while traveling ?

submitted by heidi - 3 years ago

Q: Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) = plastic in "Plant Powered" Laundry Detergent Why is this the 2nd ingredient in your list, as it has been proven to be an environmental pollutant and its healtheffect unknown

submitted by M Romand - 22 days ago
  • A: We are committed to and are constantly seeking ways to responsibly reduce plastic waste. For that reason, we offer laundry sheets without a plastic bottle. Our sheets use polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)that is the specific grade approved by the EPA’s Safer Choice program. This material is highly water-soluble, has no potential to bioaccumulate in biota, and does not meet the chemical definition of a microplastic. In other words, the PVA used in our sheets the detergent will never not degrade into microplastics and is not a rigid plastic.
