Poor quality. Washed prior to putting in bed and had pills all over it Color says white but is more of an off white/beige

In the summer he frequently complains that his blanket is too heavy, but he wants something more than a sheet. I think this blanket will work perfectly! I like that it's 100% cotton, so it should breathe well and wash nicely. I also think they did a nice job with the packaging, which is especially nice if you're buying it as a gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been looking for a blanket that could be used by itself on my bed or as a layer for colder weather. The Eddie Bauer textured Twill Hypoallergenic Solid White Cotton Queen Blanket has been the perfect solution. The “white” is more of an off white which I actually prefer to a stark white. It washes up beautifully. Just be aware there will a lot of lint after the first time in the dryer. All that lint didn’t take away from how soft and comfortable it is to sleep with. I have been using it as an extra layer on top of my normal duvet since it’s Winter. It provides just the right amount of warmth with our being suffocating. In fact, I plan on using it as a single layer in the Spring and Summer. The size is perfect for my queen size bed. The textured pattern adds some interest to my decor and really classes up my bedroom. If you are looking for a versatile blanket to add to your linens, I highly recommend this blanket.
