The more modern design was nicer for our wanted decor although there was more brass color than I had initially anticipated. The light was easy for my husband to install and came with directions for those who never installed one before. Light emition isnt the brighest so nice as an accent light fixture to complement the overhead lights and be more subtle when dont want it to be super bright. Will be considering purchasing another to replace the other sconce or find another light from this company with a little less brass finish to match the rest of our house.

The brass is dull, and it looks very cheap. Also, I expected this to be a plug-in lamp, but it turns out you have to actually wire it in. I'm extremely disappointed.
