Q: Was the meat sprayed in these Taquitos chicken and cheese because you can't even see any meat what so ever this is a rip off, EL Monterey should be ashamed of misleading the customers.

I don’t really understand the bad reviews because I actually love these taquitos. They make for such a quick and easy dinner or snack. If you bake or air fry them for the right amount of time, they turn out crispy and delicious! I like to top them off with some sour cream and pico de gallo. Now I will say, I don’t believe a box of only 20 tiny taquitos is worth $8. But, would I totally buy them again? Yes LOL.

Got these for a quick snack for my kids. These are spicy. Like actually spicy. Wasted $8 on food my kids won’t eat. Was not expecting that considering the package doesn’t hint spice at all. The flavor is okay but it’s mostly tortilla.

I feel like they used to be good? Don’t know what changed. Very odd flavor, the tortilla somehow tastes raw even though it’s not, no chicken, weird chunks of something. Wouldn’t recommend

Many of them had no filling whatsoever. Their hollow. The ones with filling head a tiny bit at each end but not in the middle at all. And I mean the vast middle. Maybe a half inch at each end had filling. These are horrible and I’m surprised that Trader Joe’s selling them.

I don't like that 10 of them are only filled half way. I rarely buy them anymore because of that. They taste good IF THERE IS FILLING IN THEM, otherwise all you get is a mostly empty greasy roll.

Like other buyer in the questions, the chicken in this is terrible. They questioned that it was sprayed in. The chicken is the smallest pieces like it was ground. Reminds me of the Taco Bell pink slime gate. Disgusting! Tortilla is fine no issue. What are they doing to our food?

I don’t know what some of these reviews are talking about, but as long as you air fry them or toss them in the oven they are amazing. They have a perfect crisp, the chicken and cheese is so good. I also eat them with a bit of sour cream on the side.

These are booty, don't buy them. They are fairly soggy and have next to no filling. What is there is also flavorless.

I should have read reviews before buying, I needed a quick and easy dinner and purchased on a whim. They have zero flavor, even when dipped in salsa it’s still an overpowering bland taste. Very disappointing.
