Electronic Chasing Mouse Cat Toy - Boots & Barkley™ - Gray

I bought the item on March 29th, 2025 and it has been less than 30 days and it's already broken. The remote seems to work but the mouse is not responsive. Either the battery is drained or the mouse is broken, but both are unacceptable since it's only been less than 30 days.

Got it on sale and still not worth the purchase. Barely lasted and spent most of its short life just spinning. Lost the function to go forward and backwards very quickly. Cats did like it for its short life.

Do not put on rugs, because it will collect all the dirt and not work. My cat was really sad after it broke because he really liked it a lot.

IT stopped working after 5 minutes.. it only spins and my cats are uninterested.

Left wheel stopped working after barely using it. Disappointed.

Spins and only spins :( Mouse won’t go straight or backwards. All it does is spin - regardless of what button is pressed.

My cats loved this at first..but it doesn’t go in the position where the button is being pressed anyone. Press backward it spins in circle, press forward, doesn’t go straight..can easily get stuck on vents and carpet..once they “catch” it and flip it there is no way to get it upright without touching it..then that ruins the fun out of it. Couldn’t find replacement batteries at Target

My Cindy is a 1yr old former foster feline who did not do well in shelters since a tiny kitten. Formal name Cinderella-Cindy preferred. She is a hunter and so she enjoys chasing this one around and from under furniture. My 3 now moved on felines loved play but true hunting cut into our cuddling time. Cindy does not know cuddling. Anyway, she loves her mouse. Me, add on the packaging- recommend turning the mouse off to not drain the batteries as it is like putting a car in neutral. Also cats leave hair about and hair gets wrapped around the wheels. Pointy tweezers and patience go a long way in clearing the natural slowing down as the wheels stop turning. I will buy another so my Cindy can get double the fun trying to chase both.

At first my cat was scared of it, then she was curious and approached with caution. Now she loves it and has fun chasing it around!

We have a younger male cat and he loves to play. This mouse was ready to go right out of the package, controlled by a remote control. It goes forward, backward and spins. Our cat - and son - loves it!

Does not work on regular carpets; maybe works on a very, very low cut carpet. Gets stuck on grout lines in tile floors if the grout lines are too wide. See photo. Needs bigger wheels. Almost had the cats interested in playing with it.

It quit working after 1 use.

The concept of the toy is spot on. My 2 cats who don't really like each other were playing with it for the whole 5 minutes it actually worked. Just as others have stayed, it only goes in circles with only a piece if hair catching the wheels. It only went back & forthright 5when it first come out and the other 8out of the pkg. The batteries ran out very fast & I even put in new batteries. Has anyone come across any toys like this. I sure would like to get the something new to play with!

My cat loved the toy, but with her shedding the wheels got gummed up, and it being a small toy, very hard to clean them out. I bought the toy twice, thinking that the first time maybe it was faulty. Such a shame, cuz my cat really loved it.

I thought this would be an adorable toy that I could play with my cat but it only went around and around, no matter which button I pushed. I will be returning it.

This was the perfect product .. for the 10 hours (?) or so that it worked. It actually did move back and forth and spin side to side. Then it died. We replaced all batteries in both items. Still didn't work. The wheels basically gave in ? My cat is so bummed because he really liked it.

I was so excited about this but it broke within the first day of using it. My cat was scared of it so she didn't even chase it but while I was driving it around it just stopped working. I replaced all batteries in the mouse & remote but nothing changed.

My cat absolutely loves this toy! As the other reviews mentioned it’s a bit noisy, it spins in circles when hair is stuck in the wheels, and the batteries do drain pretty fast. I’ll post a picture of the replacement batteries.
