The included straw is just the cherry on top, making every sip a delightful experience. Before purchasing, I noticed some reviews mentioning issues with the lid not sealing properly. However, I’ve had no problems at all! The key is to press down from the center slowly and evenly—this ensures the silicone seal works perfectly. With this simple technique, the tumbler seals beautifully every time. Overall, the Ello glass tumbler has quickly become my favorite companion for drinks on the go. Inside the glass has a lingering chemical scent to it. I’ve only used it for water. No longer using this as my daily water bottle.

Loved drinking out of it but after 3 months it shattered when I pulled the wooden top off to add water. I only hand washed it. Had a Life factory glass bottle and it lasted for years.

Already owned and use a blue Ello glass but my wife wanted to use it instead of me. So to keep pease she now has a white one. We both like the grip and the fact that it is glass and easily cleaned. Go get one for yourself !

The cup itself works but it has a strong taste and smell similar to a hospital room. I bought it assuming it was non toxic but apparently there's something toxic no matter how much I wash the cup. Would not recommend anyone buying this product.

I was Looking for a glass water bottle. I happen to find this at Target. Great price, and quality. The only downside is that the water doesn't stay cold for long, even with ice. I read that using stainless steel water bottles isn't healthy and to use glass instead. Love this one, fits 16 oz oz of water. Unfortuantely, I misplaced mine and am running back to Target to get another before they run out. Only 5 left!!

Chemical smell that I cannot get rid of! Returning this item.

The tumbler and the lid are amazing. However, the straw bent and curved into a semi circle on the first wash.

I did not get to use my tumbler. I washed it last night and waited for it to dry. The next morning the wooden lid was split. I was so excited to use it but was deeply disappointed. I have a cabinet full of Ello products and this one definitely failed.

Terrible smell. Bought two because I like the design and both went into the trash. Smells so bad you won’t want to put it anywhere near your mouth.

No way the sleeve on this is silicone. Been working in f&b for over 30 years. Good, food grade silicone should never smell. This smells like rubber. Rubber is latex. If this sleeve has latex in it, it could be trouble for someone with a latex allergy. Beware.

This tumbler has an awful chemical smell that won't go away no matter how much it's soaked and washed. I really liked the fact that it's glass and seemed easy to clean but the chemical smell on the 'bpa-free', 'silicone' rubber seal on the inside as well as the rubber exterior smell awful and your drink smells and tastes like it as well.

I bought two of these cups, one in white and one in blue. I filled the blue with just water (only water in the cup ever) and the entire cup had a strong smell of nail polish remover like chemicals. After several washes the smell persisted. I noticed that the wooden lid 'clear coat' was flaking and the smell was worse in that spot. I had to throw it away. I have found other reviews on Amazon suggesting the same type of smell. Just a warning.
