It makes crafting so much easier to lay your glue down and actually see where the glue is going with the confidence it will dry clear. I also used it to glue down my eye brows for a costume paint job, it was great to be able to see the color disappear, and know it was dry enough to lay my face paint on a truly flat surface without having to shave my eyebrows. Elmers have really out done themselves with this disappearing glue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elmer's disappearing purple glue stick is very adhesive. It slides smoothly on paper in a bright purple color and dries very quickly. The only downside is that it doesn't always dry perfectly clear. The only other issue is that the glue stick itself isn't incredibly firm which sometimes causes it to crumble when it's in use. However, it is still by far one of the best glue sticks I've used.

That makes it easy for little ones to see where the glue is, so crafting projects are much less stressful. It washes off hands and clothes with soap and water, and it didn’t damage any of my tables. Perfect for younger students - not messy like liquid glue and children can easily see where the glue is on the paper due to it being purple on the paper when applying - later it dries clear like magic! The glue sticks are the perfect size for little hands and there is a generous amount of glue in each container. I always keep extra on hand in my classroom for when students run out.
