Extremely sticky slime! Would never purchase again. Followed the directions…our kid didn’t like the texture.

Mixing was fun but it quickly turned into a sticky mess. Slime for one day.

Followed the directions and the slime consistency wasn’t great. Couldn’t stretch the slime without it breaking. Disappointing! I wouldn’t recommend.

Its an amazing kit you can make two slimes

First of all - didn’t even fill one with all the pieces. Missing one container. 2nd of all it’s a gooey mess as many reviews stated. Better to make slime the old fashion way with regular glue and borax. Lesson learned!

My girl loves this kit. She is 10 years old and can make the slime without any help from me!

I would give this kit 0 if possible. I’ve purchased it twice in hopes that I just didn’t follow the directions correctly but no. Just a huge sticky mess and disappointed kids.

My daughter enjoyed making and playing with this slime kit! We put it in an air tight container and it’s still good to play with.

This slime kit left my daughter completely disappointed as she spent some of her birthday money to buy it. We followed the instructions exactly as they are on the box which resulted in nothing but a sticky mess. I have made slime in the past using glue, contact solution etc. and it's not that hard. This was a complete waste of my daughter's money and I will be contacting Elmer's on tomorrow as I now have to buy more glue for her so she can make slime. Please save yourself from having a disappointed child and do not buy this kit. *If I could give 0 stars I would.

I bought it because it was cheaper to buy the slime items together. I wasn’t pleased with the results. Maybe my daughter added to much activator to begin with.

This slime kit met my expectations. The process of making the slime was very straightforward. I really liked the pink and purple glitter glues, they are very pretty. Also, I liked how the slime kit came with extra liquid activator bottles so if your slimes become sticky or tacky then you can add more. One con of the kit was that you had less creative freedom to customize the slime like adding things like styrofoam balls, clay, or beads. Though you could buy those add-ins separately. Also, I found that the slime had a bit of a rubbery texture compared to other slimes I have made before. The kit does not come with any other ingredients to change the texture of the slime. The kit was $10.99 which I think is on the expensive side for a kit that only makes two slimes. This slime kit is a good start but if you want to make more slimes I would not recommend buying this kit over and over. Instead, I would suggest buying larger quantities of your materials like glue and activator. A whole gallon of PVA glue is about twenty dollars while the individual glue bottles are about two to five dollars. The gallon has 128 fl oz while the glue bottles have 6 fl oz. The gallon has around twenty one times the amount of product, meaning the gallon is much more cost effective. If you are making slime often then I would go for the op[tion that will save you money, especially in this economy. The magical liquid actiavtor has boric acid in it which creates the slime. A cheaper alternative that has the boron chemicals in it is buying borax powder, which is typically used for laundry. Borax combined with water is a cheaper alternative to the Elmer’s brand activator. Overall I would give this product a 4.5 out of 5 stars. I think it’s a good product for making a fun, glittery slime. The slime kit is easy to follow and not mess up. It is enjoyable to make the slime and it’s a good stress reliever!

Too sticky.. we ended it with sticky messy fingers and hands and disappointed kids.

DO NOT BUY! It’s the stickiest, most awful slime consistency we’ve had. It took atleast 15 minutes to wash our hands after touching this slime. It was a nightmare.

Instruction inaccurate. Slime was too sticky, then not sticky enough to stick together.

Box came a little broken/uneven from side. Had to give it as a present

Easy way to have everything needed for making slime

If I could give zero stars I would. The “magic liquid” activator is a joke. Ended up with hands covered in a mass of sticky goo that was a struggle to get off.

Granddaughter was not thrilled with it. It was always too sticky. Kept adding the magic liquid but was too sticky to play with

Horrible, did not become slime even with following directions and trying to add more activator. Very difficult to wash off hands and anything else it touched. Would not recommend.
