I love that it had an adaptor so it could fit different size poles. This is a very heavy stand so I don't have to worry that it will tip over in strong winds. .

We had an outdoor table and umbrella, but we tried to get by without a base. Wow, what a difference having the base makes. I love the weight to it, but it is easy enough to move and easy to use with the umbrella pole. The design is simple but classy and will go with most decor. I would recommend the base to others.
