Q: Does the headboard come with the legs attached? If so, is it possible to detach them?

A: Brook side is again mistaken... legs come in the back compartment of the headboard to either attach yourself or use the wall mount without the legs.

Q: Hello Can you tell me the measurements of the headboard height ( without the legs ) . I know it says it is 32 inches high. Is that for the entire headboard, including legs? Is it adjustable? Thank you

A: support@brooksidehomedesigns.com is mistaken. I just received my headboard and measured it. The upholstered portion (what you see when mounted) is only 19.5” tall.

Q: does this headboard work if the bed is not pressed against the wall? I live in a dorm room and the bed doesn't go against the wall so I need something for the head of it but I'm not sure if it would connect.

I was optimistic that this headboard would be of decent quality since it is sold by Target, but that is not the case. It looks OK, IF you can figure out how to attach it to your bedframe. The instructions are terrible, the pre-drilled holes do not line up with the attachment plates, and it is very wobbly, if you are able to get it attached because the legs of the headboard are only 1x4s. I would give it zero stars for assembly if I could. It took my handy husband and me four hours to attach two headboards!

I like this charcoal color headboard very much. It's used in our guest room. Padding is nice and will be good for guests to lean against to read or watch tv. Many holes on legs to attach to the bedframe which is nice to have options to either raise it up or lower it to whatever height you want. Easy to put together & the price was great (on sale). My only problem...& this is my fault. I didn't measure the distance on my bedframe from where the legs attach. You need to measure the distance from leg frame attachment to the other 1 because I attached 1 leg to the bedframe then realized what a dummy I was bc the other leg didn't reach where I should be attaching the other leg!! LOL!! UGHHHH! It reached to right before the attachment area but I couldn't attach it properly with a screw. I am too lazy to return & I wanted it now for my room so I zip tied it onto the frame & pushed it agains the wall. It works for me! Can't even see the zip tie so I'm good!

The color is not as pretty as the photo, rather like a rather washed out denim. The instructions are so epic lousy I gave up, then came back later and did it logically, not per poor instructions. Finally, the legs fit a double size, NOT queen, hence my frustration!!

It’s exactly what I wanted but a little flimsy. I got the Cal King and figure the size is a factor in wobbliness, but it can be worked with. I like that it came with adjustable legs, an adapter plate, and can be hung up on the wall. I wasn’t expecting that

Bought this headboard in the "Cream" color. First of all, it's not cream; it's an ugly, sallow tan color. Second, it stinks to high heaven. We bought it when we had a newborn so that I had something to lean against when nursing, but after two nights of it in our room, I had my husband remove it because I was worried the off-gasing was super toxic to our infant. Third, it didn't even fit our king bed frame properly. We needed to get different hardware to make it work for the two days we used it. It's also worth noting, that once we were past the newborn stage and could see straight again, I went down to the basement to see about returning the item... Unfortunately, the return window has lapsed, but here's the kicker -- even after storing it for MONTHS, it still STINKS. I am shocked by how terrible this product is and am super hesitant to buy furniture ever again from Target.
