submitted byEnergizer Team - 4 years agoBrand expertA: It seems to be a popular opinion that AG13 and LR44 are the same battery. This is NOT true. LR44s are alkaline cells, cheap, but with limited capacity. AG13, 303, and 357 (this item) are silver oxide cells and more expensive. Silver oxide cells have a far higher capacity than LR44s, especially at low current drain such as in a watch. The two are the same size, and it is possible to exchange them. But the silver oxide type used in a device designed for it will have a far longer life than an LR44. As an example, in a digital caliper, the LR44 cells last maybe 3 weeks. The silver oxide cells last almost a year.
submitted bypls - 6 years agoA: AG13 and LR44 are compatible with Energizer 357.
