Installation Instructions: 1. To open, remove base by lifting tab to release. Insert 3 AA batteries (noting polarity). 2. Attach the base/battery compartment cover to the desired surface (screws and anchors are included). Or use the included double-sided tape. 3. To close, line up tabs with base and snap shut.

These are great! I have one in each closet and one in the shed. I mount it above the inside of the door. It provides enough light to cover the entire space. It triggers easily, yet only triggers when I want it. The included tape made mounting easy.

Cheaper solution than to hire an electrician to fix the lighting in our front closet (eventually will get done). It gives off enough light for us to see perfectly. It only fell once but it hasn’t since. This does exactly what it’s supposed too

I was hesitant to buy this, considering previous reviews. I held on to the receipt a while. All we did for placement was to set it down on a low brick border to illuminate a specific spot. It has lasted through multiple heavy storms, high winds, weeks of relentless humidity and cooking in the direct sun. We didn’t weatherproof it at all, yet it has never failed to work, neither its motion detection ability, nor its responding illumination. We’ve had to put it back up on the wall multiple times after windy or stormy weather. Falling a foot repeatedly has caused no harm. Worth every penny!

Great price and offers light to my front door with motion sensor. I used the 3M tape that comes with it which keeps it in place. I would recommend it since I needed a quick fix until my porch light is fixed.

I only put this up today so I can't speak to the light it gives off but I was sad to see that it looks kind of cheap. I'd recommend if you can hide it a bit where it's not noticeable but the way my door is it sticks out by itself. I had no problem with the battery compartment until I mounted it and then for some reason it would not totally catch so the light would go out if I so much as brushed it with my hand. I think I got it to latch finally but if I go through that every time I change the batteries it's not worth it. temporary fix until I find something nicer. all the five star reviews seemed to have gotten it for free so I wanted to post as someone who actually bought it.

We got it for the bottom half of the stairs in our garage where, due to poor light switch location, you either have to leave a light on all the time or walk up the stairs in darkness. But we put this light in above the third step from the bottom and it's bright enough to light the bottom half of the stairs, which is perfect. There is a sticky pad on the bottom to secure it to a shelf, or you can use screws to secure it more firmly. The motion sensor seems to be just the right amount sensitive. It always registers us waking into the area, we haven't had to wave our hands right in front of it or found it in for no reason. My only problem is that the batteries didn't last very long. We had to replace them after just under 4 weeks, and I wish they had lasted longer.

It's super easy to install without having to run electrical wires, it operates on 3 AA batteries. It is dust proof and waterproof, making it ideal for above doorways, garages, patios or porch. It can be installed using the 3M sticky tape that is included or a screw mount. Because it only comes on during low light conditions and when it senses movement, the batteries last quite a long time. I will be purchasing another to install above my garage. Highly recommend, very budget friendly.

It comes on automatically and shuts off automatically too. Its nice to not have to remember to shut it off when not in use. It was easy to place above my door, and provides plenty of illumination! The original batteries I installed are still going strong, so I'd say it doesn't require a ton of energy to use. I'd say this small but mighty light is a great addition!

I am impressed on the amount of light aluminates from such a small device. They tape adhesive appears to very sturdy. I am not sure how it would hold up on a wall as I have applied it you his nightstand. The light stays lite for about a minute without any motion detection.
