Summary of reviews

The Super Mario Piranha Plant Escape Game offers a fun and engaging experience for young children, especially fans of the Mario franchise. While it is easy to set up and play, some guests noted that the game may not hold the attention of older kids for long. Not what we expected. We played it once, and the kids lost interest, not really fun.

Please ignore all the 5 star promotional reviews. This game is terrible and unfortunately I bought it when it was being sold for $20. There are only two figurines for this 4 person game (Mario & Luigi), and the other two are tiny plastic rectangles with stickers on them. The plant itself is small, and kept falling off despite it being put together correctly. It’s super boring, and my four year old was over it after playing it twice.

It's similar to crocodile dentist without the satisfaction of pushing in little teeth. Kids enjoyed Shaky Tower and loved the look of this one so we picked it up. It feels like they really cheaped out with this one - only includes 2 figures when the game says its up to 4. They included little cheap stands so you can place a sticker image of Yoshi and Toad in place of actual figures. Shaky tower includes actual 7 figures. I feel like it would have been a good opportunity to include Peach. Very short play time. Kids moved on after 5 min. Quality and size of Piranha Plant is nice so will probably use it as table decor for a party.

Not as fun as I thought. My son just likes the piranha and how it chomps down but the game itself is pointless. Not much “play” involved. He loves the shaky tower game so much I figured we’d try this one too. Just boring. Doesn’t do much at all. He enjoys it more for the idea of what it is rather than the game part. Also falls apart pretty easily.

There is no point to this game. The Piranha just bites down randomly, does not even bite a player just knocks down every player. It’s honestly the worst game I’ve purchased in a long time and possibly ever. Going back. Don’t waste your time and money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so fun to play with the little ones in the family. You never know who was going to get "eaten" and it was a funny surprise for everyone. It had us all laughing. The only thing is that the game could go fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids liked the game pieces more than the actual game. Does not fit back into the original packaging which was frustrating. The hype was more exciting than the actual game. Kids lost interest. They are 5 and 7. Not so sure we would play again.

This game is very tiny. Tried to play it with my 2 toddlers and husband and all the pieces kept falling over because the game board isn’t big enough to support 4 players. It hardly supports 2 players because the spots aren’t big enough for the pieces to fit on. Not worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kids really like this game. Unfortunately its not very sturdy so every time they play with it the head of the plant falls off. It just doesnt stay on well at all and seems kind of cheap. The game itself they love and they would definitely play it more if it didnt always fall apart.
