I brought this projector back 2017/18 and it just stop working in 2024. I swapped the lamp out twice to keep the image sharp. This projector was used daily as you would a tv. It makes working from home a breeze. I highly recommend this product. I just wish I knew why it no longer turns on after all these years of working great.

I've had this projector for a year and it has been very reliable. I use it for everyday TV watching, and I am very pleased with the quality. To all the negative reviews I say that if you expect room filling home theater audio from a small projector speaker then you are an idiot. There is a convenient audio output jack on the back to hook up some nice powered speakers. Most projectors don't even have a jack. Those that complain about brightness or focus do not know what they are talking about. I can get good video in the daytime it is so bright and no problem with focusing either. For the money this projector is a great value.

Nice projector. Bright display even with ambient lighting. Display Focus leaves much to be desired. No adjustment to the focus and sharpness setting will give sharp edges on the image. Having used a Yaber Y31 at 1/3 the price to compare with, the Yaber offered sharp clear images but suffered under low ambient light conditions. The Epson excels under low ambient lighting though image sharpness suffers under any lighting conditions.

This is my 3rd Epson projector. They last a long time, produce great images, powerful brightness and easy setup and calibration. It does a great job for night time viewing. Contrast and sharpness could be a bit better, fan noise can be quite high, depending on which setting is used, but at this price point, it would be hard to find a better projector. Paired with a inexpensive screen, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Got this for Christmas as a gift. I love it, it super bright at 50% brightness and the quality is amazing. One feature I would have liked to have is the ability to play a mp4 home video from a usb stick

I have only owned one projector before this, but it has been a few years since then. That projector was so good that it ended up only being used for Halloween displays. I have a OLED TV in my living room right now, but was looking for something bigger to watch when we have company over. I started looking at projectors, because upsizing my television would only gain 10" diagonally at a significant cost. I decided that I would try a 1080p projector because it would not replace my TV, and 4K units are twice as expensive. After a lot of research the Epson Home Cinema 1080 ended up as my first choice. Epson obviously made big changes from the 800 series projector which reviewers criticized because it had only 1 HDMI port and no zoom, in exchange for greater lumen output. This projector keeps the increased output, and adds another 100 lumens. The 1080 also gets zoom, and 2 HDMI ports. Another big plus is that it has built in WIFI. Unboxing the projector led me to a quick setup of roughly 10 minutes. I was actually shocked at the brightness of the picture, I was able to see clear sharp images projected onto a denim colored wall, in a bright room. The cooling fan while not silent , is far from distracting. I was initially dubious about the manufactures claim of a 300" image. The projector did easily reach that size, on the default brightness. The colors are well saturated, with good contrast even on the dark wall. Even fast motion appeared smooth with no blurring or edge staggering. Image correction is a breeze , with a broad range of settings on the projector and remote. One of the concerns I had about projectors was the cost of maintenance. Online prices for replacement lamps left me at ease, with lamps selling for as little as $50. I know that this review makes this projector seem perfect. I think the picture and features are fantastic for the price, but there are a couple of weak points. Unless you are using HDMI, you are stuck with RCA jacks as part of composite input for audio, or you connect your audio via a headphone jack. Choose one or the other, because the projector’s built in speaker sounds like a homemade tinfoil kazoo. I opted to use the headphone jack connected to a Yamaha sound bar, and am very satisfied with the results. If you can live with the audio limitations, this projector gets you the most 1080p bang, for any buck. The image quality and size capability of this projector cannot be beat dollar for dollar by the competition. I'm keeping mine. This projector is amazing! It’s exactly what my family needed for our movie nights. It is really easy to set up and get started. Right out of the box you can tell it’s modern and well put together. The remote is a little bulky for people used to modern Roku’s, but it does the job. The projector itself has a nice selection of inputs, which allows virtually anything to be displayed. The built in slider in place of lens cap is a welcome change. The adjustment sliders on top make size and angle easier to adjust than just a remote. The sliders also have a "snap" spot at center so you can easily reset them to 0. The keystone tries to auto adjust when you change angle, and that’s so helpful! Since there is only one adjustable stand in the front, you need it to be on a solid surface to have it balanced right. Otherwise it did the job just fine. It was easy to focus and bright on the wall even with daylight coming in the windows. In conclusion, this projector is top of the line and a welcomed update! It has made watching movies and videos so much easier in our home. This is a review for the Epson Home Cinema 1080 3LCD projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
Great Video, Terrible Audio

I bought this device as an outdoor movie projector. Beautiful video. However, the audio is terrible. Plus, there is no bluetooth or modern audio output plugs. I wish I had known. The audio output plus only uses a RCA audio output. Very few modern speakers even have the ability to use RCA. It is almost like Epson never updated the audio output design from 10-15 years ago. Very disappointing given the price of this.

After using this projector, I’m extremely impressed! The first thing I love about this projector is how easy it was to set up out of the box. Using the included remote, it was easy to to customize the settings and adjust the projector according to my preferences. The next important feature to point out about this projector is how sleek it looks. The projector has a beautiful white appearance. I appreciate that there are buttons on the unit as well. This makes it easy to adjust my projector if my remote runs out of batteries. The next key area worth discussing is the clarity and performance of the projector itself. The projector’s picture is clean and crisp. I am able to see even the finest details on the projector’s screen. I’m also amazed at how bright the projector’s LED light is. The picture is super bright on my wall. I’ve also been quite impressed with how quickly the projector starts up and shuts off. It only takes a few seconds for the fan to get up to speed as well as gradually shut down when I want to turn it off. Another important area worth mentioning about this projector is how many devices it is compatible with. There’s plenty of ports on the back of the projector including AV slots, USB slots, HDMI ports, etc. This feature works great for plugging in an external streaming stick! Another feature that I really appreciate about this projector is the fact that there is a manufacturer-created app available on my iPhone, iPad, or MacBook that can be used to stream content wirelessly onto my projector! Using this app, I’m able to view and share pictures and websites. On the iPhone Epson projection app, I can even show live video from my phone’s camera. Overall, I’m very pleased with this projector and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a high-quality projector that’s fit for any movie! I’ve never seen a projector with such great picture quality! This is a review for the Epson Home Cinema 1080 3LCD projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a long time, I've never even considered projectors because I felt like the picture and sound wouldn't match up with a TV and surround sound. This projector has shown me how far they've come. Set up is literally your basic plug and play. You won't even need instructions (but still read them). We used this in our media room and plugged in a streaming device to the HDMI port to avoid too many cables. Works great, decently quiet for its size, and the picture quality is fantastic! If I had to say anything negative, it would be the audio. While it was crisp and clear, it's an obvious (and expected) downgrade from my sound system, however, it sounds better than my neighbors' projector by far! I think that this would be a great purchase for someone looking for versatility without sacrificing picture quality. You won't be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed by this! I live in an apartment and wasn't sure how well it would work on my wall, but this exceeded my expectations. It was a breeze to set up, even for people who aren't tech savvy. I loved how easy it was to sharpen and focus the image. Its great for movie nights and game days. Clear sound and picture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this to turn our TV room into a full theater, and it works wonderfully! The picture is clear and crisp and we use it to project to about a 6x10 space or so (probably wider). It runs quiet and was very easy to set up. Has a fantastic picture quality. We hooked a 4K roku stick into the HDMI port and connected that to our wifi to cut down on the amount cords needed. Couldn't be any easier for sure. I would highly recommend this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this installed in my son's bedroom projecting onto a large wall and it works great. The picture is super bright and clear. The picture quality is amazing. He has a fire stick hooked up to it and he also plays his Xbox on it. It is really easy to setup and the picture is great in light or dark room conditions. I highly recommend this projector at this price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you miss going to the movies like I do, then this projector is a must! Very clear picture and great sound quality. It was easy to set up and have a fun movie night at home. Then the kids figured out they could connect their consoles to it and now play their video games using the projector. It makes for a really fun and exciting experience! Overall it’s a great addition to my home!
