Ergobaby Embrace Cozy Soft Air Mesh Newborn Baby Carrier

I personally preferred a stretchy wrap, but my husband loved this carrier and uses this multiple times every day as our baby only contact naps. We started using when she hit 8lbs (at 1 month) and had no problems with fit, but she already had some head control by then. One note - I’m petite but not especially skinny (5’1” and 120-130lbs) and I had to tighten the straps all the way. She also still tends to slip down with wear (see photo) vs staying as high as she should ideally as I can’t get it tight enough. That being said it’s still comfortable, just more suited for my taller husband.

It's great quality, but not comfortable for either of us. Hopefully it's better for him as he grows.

I bought this carrier since it was able to be used for newborns, love the soft and breathable material. Just wish it had more neck support for baby, I found that even though I adjusted the straps my baby's neck would just hang and he wasn't super close to my chest as I expected but overall great carrier.

I love this carrier! I never used a carrier with my first 2 babies I always felt claustrophobic and hated how difficult and bulky the other types of carriers were to put on. But this is quick easy and lightweight and with this being my 3rd child I use it often! 10/10 recommend!

I was gifted this for my 3rd baby and I love it! I tried slings/wraps before with my older two (Solly, K'tan), but only used them occasionally because I never felt confident in them and was worried they weren't secure. I'm a big 360 fan, and love that the Omni has more support/structure that I'm used to with the 360 but is softer, lighter and more easily wearable and cozier fit for newborns. I used this all the time around the house and out with my baby the first few months! Highly recommend.

Great product, I did have to practice a few times using a stuffed animal but I am now able to get my newborn into it without assistance. She calms down in the carrier and seems to be comforted by being held close. Easy to take off as well.

We love our new Ergobaby Embrace. After using a wrap with my first, I wanted something easier with second baby. This is super simple to put on and baby loves it. I can be hands free to help my toddler and get things done.

I love this. Comfortable and soft. Good airflow to prevent overheating.

I was so excited to use this carrier but unfortunately the last couple times we used it, it like cut into his skin and he isn’t big either he’s 14lbs and his legs were red.

Honestly I was so excited but I’m disappointed my son isn’t small nor big he’s in the normal size but when I try to face him so he can see outside he’s getting red lines in his legs and he finds it very uncomfortable.

I absolutely love this carrier. I was skeptical at first because I exclusively used soft, fabric wrap carriers with my guest child and hated the more structured carriers, but this is a perfect blend of the best parts of soft fabric carriers and also the more structured carriers. It’s super easy to put on and take off and my newborn loves being in it, she stops crying and falls asleep everytime. It’s a lot easier to put the baby in than a soft fabric carrier and takes just two seconds. Also, this carrier keeps the baby cool with the mesh now that it’s getting hot out and doesn’t allow the baby to overheat. This carrier also folds up small so I can throw it in the diaper bag when we go somewhere. I like that the baby feels secure and the straps are super easy to tighten and loosen. I love it! I really enjoy this carrier. It’s pretty light and breathable so I don’t get hot. It’s super easy to put on and off but I feel like it’s a little weird at first. It seems pretty supportive and the waist belt helps pull some of the weight off my shoulders (although I still have a newborn so I’m not sure with older babies.) I can wear my baby for hours with little to no pain and my shoulders don’t get tired! Personally I felt that the spreadable straps didn’t make a huge difference and feel slightly uncomfortable when they are spread out. I prefer them just over my shoulders. I think my favorite thing about this carrier is that it is almost a hybrid between a wrap carrier (I have always preferred them but they are harder to wrap) and a traditional carrier. Because it’s so easy to use and adjust it has since replaced my wrap carrier! I am very happy that the Stellar Product Testing Panel provided me with this carrier! I love it!

My son is not yet even a week old, but he already loves this carrier! I have 5 kiddos, with my youngest being born at a whopping 10lbs 9oz. This makes it difficult to use some newborn carriers because he is so heavy already, they just pull down on my shoulders. That is not the case with this Embrace Soft Air Mesh Newborn Carrier. It provides amazing support, is super comfortable (for both me and him!), and is easy to use. Upon opening the box, I was surprised by how compact the carrier was. It can roll up and fold down to a rather small size which makes it easy to place in my diaper bag. This is rather impressive considering it has quite a bit of padding to ensure comfort for both parent and kiddo. It was also incredibly soft to the touch- this made me feel more confident that it would be okay touching my son's sensitive newborn skin. Ergobaby definitely makes it easy to know how to put the carrier on! Not only does it come with an instruction booklet that has multiple easy to follow photo instructions, but there are tags on the carrier itself that show how to put it on, and you can easily find videos from Ergobaby's YT channel that show someone putting it on in action. I have only used one way of wearing it so far, since my son is only a few days old (newborn carry), but I already feel confident in the other methods of wearing it because the videos and photos are so easy to follow. Once I got it on, I was shocked by how comfortable it was. Not only did it only take about 3 minutes to put it on for the first time (impressive since I had to adjust all the straps that first time too!), but the spreadable shoulder straps were really amazing for dispersing my son's weight to the point that I feel like I'm not even carrying him or holding him in it at all. He went into it and immediately went to sleep. In fact, he's sleeping on my chest, in the carrier, as I write this review. It perfectly allows him to have healthy posture and relaxes his head on my chest so he can hear my heartbeat and get a little bit of skin to skin time. I have used pretty much any carrier and wrap you can think of over the past 11 years, and this one is absolutely perfect for the newborn stage. It has all the benefits of a wrap, but the structure, comfort, and security of a carrier. I absolutely recommend this to everyone! I LOVE this carrier. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I had owned a previous ergobaby carrier that was sturdy and great but super difficult to put on by myself. This updated one is designed perfectly to put on without anyone else’s assistance, making it easy to insert baby and safely attach snugly without fear of her slipping out or having to contort around my back to clip it on. Super thoughtfully designed that way. It’s also really soft, breathable material, which is wonderful for heading into the warmer months, and is soft directly on her skin. I also think it looks super chic and love the color. The straps pull down over your shoulders too for added support, which I know will make a huge difference comfort-wise as baby gets heavier. Definitely the best carrier I’ve tried and can’t wait for many forest and beach walks together using it!

I really like the Ergobaby Embrace carrier for my baby. It's easy to put on, the straps are right there by your arms to tighten or loosen. I usually leave it connected and just slip it over my head. I like that the waist strap has an elastic band to hold the extra so it's not flapping around. It starts at 7lbs and you don't need an infant insert. The waist belt is strong and fits my plus size waist. At 15lbs my baby is getting a little big so I start reaching for my soft structured carrier more, but for a soft cozyness the Embrace is treasured. I want to thank Stellar Reviews for providing this carrier. I’d like to start by highlighting the positives. Pros: -it’s lightweight - it has soft fabric - it seems straightforward when it comes to using it for the baby. Cons: it’s not plus friendly for the wider waist or busty people. I think if you have a large belly you may need an extender. - I don’t feel very secure with my baby sitting in this But if you’re looking for something that will give you the convenience on the go - this is it. It just didn’t make me comfortable.

The Ergobaby Embrace Soft Air Mesh Newborn Carrier is a good choice for carrying infants. The fabric is indeed soft and it feels nice and cozy for both baby and mom. My 5 month old son loves being in this carrier, especially facing outwards so he can see the world. My favorite part is that it's so comfortable he fell asleep in it a few times while we were out! The mesh fabric is breathable and will keep us cool during the hot days of summer. The supportive waist belt is adjustable and the the spreadable cross straps offer good support. The weight limit is 7- 25 lbs so it can grow with your baby. The only thing I don't like is that the shoulder straps are very long and the straps touch the ground when I put it on and take it off. Besides that, it is fairly easy to put on- it takes me less than a minute after the first couple of tries. It's just 3 clicks and you are good to go (1 buckle at the waist and 2 on the sides) but make sure one hand is on your baby at all times. This carrier is the perfect blend- it provides the snugness and comfort of a wrap with the support of a carrier. I was given this carrier to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

We had our newborn baby last week and she loves to be held close. The Ergobaby newborn carrier is great for carrying around your newborn while being able to be mobile. We have purchased other carriers to use when she is older but we are not able to use them until she is larger. I was worried about using a carrier so early but felt like our baby was very supported. I liked that it was a midway point between an all fabric wrap and a more supportive carrier. Great for mothers who recently had a baby and want to still have a partially structured carrier. The directions were easy to follow and only took a few second to set up. The straps were comfortable, yet still supportive. We had to play around with the straps to make sure they were in the proper position, this style of shoulder wrap may take a moment to get used to. Our baby remained cool because the knit fabric is thin and breathable. The carrier is machine washable which is a huge bonus for new parents! Both mom and dad are able to use this product because the the adjustable straps, good for a variety of sizes. Many of the fabric wraps are very feminine looking so it is nice that this wrap is gender neutral. The clips are very durable and easy to trust to support your baby. One of the downfalls with this carrier is we received it to use for our newborn but she is on the larger size, we will not one able to use it as long as those who have a smaller baby. We will have to upgrade to a larger carrier for her height, making it slightly harder to justify the price of a carrier that can only be used for a newborn.
