[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I were able to give 5 stars on the World Map Blue Area Rug. It is a beautiful color blue and the concept is awesome however, it's missing that wow factor. I wish it were a clearer picture, more in depth details, darker writing and a legend of some sort. Some things are just hard to make out or read. This is educational as far as animals and continents, all other education is up to the parent. Definitely would give 5 stars for any child under 3. It does give my child the ability to use his imagination and creativity to interact. It's just not there for me to recommend. There are better resources available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so soft and colorful. I put it in my daughter’s playroom and she loves playing on it. She loves that it shows animals that love on each continent. My only complaint is there was a small spot where the thread was unraveling. It isn’t that noticeable.

One of them is studying the continents and the animals that live there and this was perfect for his learning. He is gonna take a picture of it and take it to school for show and tell. I was so excited to see his little face when it was unrolled. It is made of really good heavy duty material and will clean up easily if something is spilled on it. Highly recommend this area rug for child's room or daycare. Kids would absolutely go bonkers over it.

My kids love looking at it and talking about where all the different animals are! Makes school fun! We love this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After unrolling the World Map Educational Blue area rug, it had a strong glue smell. It wasn't an unpleasant smell, just a strong one. We left it unrolled for one day and the smell was gone. This rug has bright colors and everything on the map is correct. My kids love having it in their room for now, until we move it to the classroom. I particularly like the animals around the map.

I think it's a cute and different idea, but the colors could use some work. I'd make the border a more appealing color like orange. Then, change the water to a darker blue to make everything stand out more. I did love that the continents are labeled though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Eric Carle World Map Area Rug about a week ago and me and my daughter love it! It's very soft and has some cushion to it and it doesn't slide on my hardwood floor, it stays put. My daughter is 3 and loves looking at it and naming the animals. When she is ready it will be a good way to teach her about the different countries. Overall we love it!!
