Q&A(7)

Q: Can I use the eucerin roughness repair on my face?

submitted by Bayla - 6 months ago
  • A: I use a small amount on my face in the winter every few days without any problems. HOWEVER, this has urea and lactic acid in it so it will exfoliate and make your skin more sensitive to the sun. I would not combine with any other active products like retinol or salicylic acid and make sure you’re using sunscreen!

Q: What is the percentage by weight of urea in Eucerin?

submitted by Evelyn - 4 years ago
  • A: Very likely 10% urea. Eucerin is a German brand. The same lotion they sell in Germany has 99% of the same ingredients in the same order is advertised on the packaging containing 10% urea.

  • A: We are unable to provide you with the percentage of Urea in our Eucerin Roughness Relief Cream. We are unable to disclose ingredient information, other than as required by law, regarding our product formulations. We adhere to this policy to ensure that trade secrets and other proprietary business information remain confidential.

Q: Hello, Can you tell me the difference between this Roughness Relief treatment and the Roughness Relief as lotion product? And, is the Spot Treatment too strong for sensitive facial skin? Thank you.

submitted by mew - 3 years ago
  • A: The Eucerin Roughness Relief Lotion is ideal as a daily moisturizer best suited for dry, rough, and bumpy skin. The Eucerin Roughness Relief Spot Treatment is formulated for extremely dry, thick, rough spots of skin such as the knuckles, elbows, knees, heels, etc. It is not intended for use on the face, or for use over large areas of skin.
