I don’t understand the bad reviews. This brand is AMAZING, clean ingredients, cooks well. We buy this and burgers. I add my own seasoning depending on what I’m making. My 8yo has been a vegetarian since birth and never had meat; she prefers this clean brand over any other brand - impossible, beyond, gardein, prager etc. she raves about it. I’m convinced people who don’t like it are comparing it to meat/similar processed items.

It’s comparable to beyond meat products. Already seasoned, just add some herbs and veggie additions. Perfect for nachos or tacos. Not sure what the bad reviews are about.

Looks like cat food, kind of smells like it only worse. Texture is not good at all. Impossible Foods brand ground or burgers are better in every way. Dear Target, look at the bad reviews this gets.. I wouldn't even carry it in your store. I can't comment on their other products, but based on this one I won't try any others. You leave a bad comment on their social media and they delete it because instead of taking feedback on their product they censor you. Maybe have your email listed on your website contact instead of Facebook and I wouldn't have had to go there.

This brand is basically the same as Beyond and Impossible meat but it is small business owned; which makes it feel more hearty. I have also read the owner's "About us" page on their website and i like the fact that the creators of this product are chefs who strive to create real food and not lab grown junk. They also dont have strange agendas such as "climate change" or "saving the planet". Would buy this plant based meat again over the others.

Like all meat substitutes you have to trust the process, but this is the one you have to put the most trust in lol. It does have a jerky taste like others have mentioned. Would be best in a meal with a bunch of other flavors to help mask it, but overall not bad for the purpose it serves.

The texture is too mushy. It does not crisp up at all. My boyfriend thought it tasted like jerky and looked like cat food before I told him other people said the same. I could not eat it.

The flavor is so weird, and it’s pretty expensive. It has a weird acidic flavor, and not in a good way. It tastes absolutely nothing like a meat substitute should.

Okay, so this product does not taste as acceptable as Beyond Beef ground beef, but the Protein to Fat Ratio is much better (for those of ypu counting Macros). The only way I have found acceptable to prepare this Legendary ground beef is with barbecue sauce and then mixing it with a startch after its cooked (like white rice or noodles).

The reviews that leave negative reviews I think just havent cooked it properly. Add a sauce (tomato for pasta, taco seasoning, or bbq) and you have a great protein for your meal. Great for sloppy joes too!

Flavor had strong undertones of a cardboard like taste. Not any better than soy protein isolate products of old. This tasted like what would have passed for a good meat alternative about ten-fifteen years ago but there are far better recipes and products out there now. Made into tacos and could not get rid of unpleasant taste no matter how much seasoning was added. Like supporting small companies but only if they have a good product and this falls flat.

Honest feedback Pros: Nice/fun packaging, great idea and concept, love supporting small businesses, crumbles nicely Cons: sorry, the look of it is weird, it stinks while cooking, does not taste good, has weird unpleasant after taste There are more affordable and better tasting vegetarian meat alternatives out there. Everyone’s taste buds are different though so maybe some might like this, but it just wasn’t for me. Impossible tastes, cooks and smells best, then Beyond meat IMO. I added garlic powder, black pepper and olive oil to this and will still try to use it in chili or for tacos. Not bad enough to throw away but will not purchase again.
