A: Dear Katy, The Harlow Deluxe Glider is not designed to rock or glide while the chair is in the reclined position. It comes with 275˚ swivel rotation and gliding capabilities in an upright position with high backrest support for moms and dads. Q: Is there a way to keep the back upright while having the foot rest up? The back recline is very severe while to foot rest is not even half way up.

Are all rhe 5 star reviews verified? Having seen all the 5 star reviews helped me decide on this chair. However, it’s like sitting on a rock. I even contacted the mfg to see if I could have gotten a defective one. No response. There is zero lumbar or head support. When you recline it, a good 2” gap opens up between the back and the seat. I’m sure many remotes, pacifiers, get lost this way. Rather irritated to have to box it back up and find someone with an suv or van that can take it up to return it for me. Oh and you can’t spot clean it with water. Not great with sticky little fingers and paws. Sure wish it would have worked out. In the pics, I’m showing how hard I’m pressing that my fingernails are turning white but barely making a dent in the seat. The other picture is showing the gap when chair if fully reclined, my hand fits all the way down. Lastly, the care instructions for reference. If I can’t wipe or spill off with a wet paper towel, I’m in trouble. It is pretty though.
