Excellent material, dries more quickly than cotton and I still get sweaty but at least it’s less so. Good price too!

The Give-N-Go 1.0 were literally the perfect performance underwear to ever exist. The 2.0 is a perfect example of a product that was changed but not improved. The worst change is with the waistband. The elastic looks and feels cheap. The 1.0 waistband was so comfortable and never deformed after years of use. The body material is also worse. It’s breathable, but pills awfully. If I could buy the 1.0 again, I would replace all of my undies. But I wouldn’t recommend the 2.0 to anyone.

Exposed elastic is a no-no for so many people, me included, makes me itch and leaves marks. I loved how there was no elastic on the original sport hipkinis, it wasn’t necessary… bought them for years and they were all I wore. A bonus was that they looked more polished, less like underwear without the elastic, and could pass for boyshort swim bottoms in a pinch (like when hiking to a hot spring or swimming hole). I am not happy with the change!! These new ones just suck!!

I didn’t want to agree with the other one star reviews but I’m one of those who has a bunch of original pairs and when I needed to restock was disappointed by the changes. I can handle the change in fabric and waistband. My issue is with the elastic around the legs. The stitching on the new pairs seem to have a scratchier thread or the lack of soft binding (like on the old pairs) causes chafing on me. I wish ExOfficio would have a “you asked so we brought back the originals” moment.

I bought these originally for hiking and now wear them all the time. Just starting to have to replace pairs that have stretched out after 6+ years.

I love these hipsters, they stay in place, are cool, and last long after elastic has stretched (5+ years)

These underpants are the most comfortable I’ve ever had. They are a perfect fit- I’m petite, xsmall. They dry quickly when washed, so great for travel when I hand wash.

This panty is perfect in every way. The color is nice and the texture of the fabric is great. The breathing ability of the fabric makes it a perfect panty for walking in humid subtropical conditions

Material is very nice for working out! Very breathable and not bulky under leggings. I feel like the waist band is very tight and gives muffin top however. I have very narrow hips and a flat rear so I don’t feel like sizing up would help. I purchased hoping to find a similar style that I purchased from exficcio quite a few years ago that I love.

These stay put, never bunch or climb. I paddle in an outrigger canoe and do CrossFit and I never know they are there!! Great purchase.

I'm really sorry to see these have been changed. I was ready to order them to replace my old ones. I can see just from the model that the waist and leg openings are tighter and the bottom smaller. The reviews confirm this. Now I'll have to look elsewhere!

Súper comfy, I’m in love with these. I bought them for the peace corps and they’re perfect for the Central American climate. Durable for hand washing, comfortable, and dry quickly.

Was looking to replace my hipkini’s until I read the reviews that said they’re not the same anymore. These were my absolute favorite so I’m very disappointed u changed them. Why wouldn’t u bring back the originals if so many reviews say how much better they were!!!

Another distraught longtime devotee of the original Hipkinis... I ordered 10 of these to replace my worn stash of undies, but I'll be returning them all. I'm so sad that the originals don't exist anymore because these are just not the same. The waist band is tighter and less comfortable. The material is different and thinner and not as good as the original. The leg bands are also thinner and less comfortable -they dig into your legs and also don't hold as well, so they ride up. The original hipkinis were literally PERFECT - the only underwear I have ever had that actually covered my whole butt and didn't ride up, and the elastic and original material was perfect. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL HIPKINIS!!!

I LOVED the original Hipkini. I have 2 and needed some new underwear so I decided to splurge and stock up on the Exofficio Hipkini, just to find out they no longer make it. I decided to try these since they are supposed to be the replacement for the Hipkini but these are nothing like them. They are completely different shape, having them sit lower on your hip and not covering your bum all the way. This makes them ride up, while the Hipkini always stayed in place. Also, the waist band is no longer the nice satin that that it used to be; it's now some other sort of elastic fabric. Because of this, even though the waist band is the same size, it makes an indentation on my hips. In addition, the waist band does not dry as fast which makes it less convenient when taking backpacking. The black underwear in the photo is the original Hipkini while the nude underwear is this new 2.0 Hipster. If you are looking for the Hipkini style, don't buy these! Find some other brand. It's what I'm looking at doing. Unfortunately, I already took the tags off and washed these so I'm stuck with them.

Then realized from reviews y’all changed the underwear and they are not the same. Now I won’t buy any. Too bad. Bring back the old undies!!!!

Was hoping these might be a little cute. Sorry but I like my panties to feel feminine at least a little. They’re kinda granny. Comfy though. again I like the idea just not the style.

Have the first version, and they're my favorite undies. I don't know why these companies feel the need to "improve" their products and in turn make them worse. I wear in XS in the first version, so I ordered XS 2.0. The waistband is completely different, all elastic instead of fabric, and it is TIGHT. They give me the world's worst muffin top all the way around. My jeans feel loose at the waist because the waistband of the underwear are so tight. Unfortunately I bought four pairs. Maybe if I lose 20 lbs one day, they'll fit.
