Exploding Kittens Horrible Therapist Card Game

This game is very entertaining for parties and get togethers! It kept everyone’s attention and we couldn’t put it down!

i literally had the BEST time playing this game with my friends. it was such a fun game and we spent hours taking turns being the “therapist.” exploding kittens games are always a hit, 5 stars for sure.

Who needs therapy!? Pretty much everyone these days. And they say the best therapy is laughter. Horrible therapist checks all the boxes and it’s just what the doctor ordered. And it’s a lot cheaper than therapy.

We haven't played yet but took a look through each of the decks. They are hilarious! Definitely excited to play. I know it will play well because it plays like another game we own. I will reiterate that there is adult content so heed the age warning.

You should know your audience before bringing this one to the table. Hilarious comic building game for fans of the Oatmeal and Cards Against Humanity. But it's not for kids. The age restriction on the box is there for a reason. My group had a great time with this one.

Right up top, I have to warn you to heed the age warning on the box. This is NOT a game for kids. It's not a game for a lot of adults, either. But if you have the sense of humor to enjoy the other EK games in their NSFW form, you will love Horrible Therapists. The premise is simple - not unlike the one that forms the basis for a well-known series of games from another company, one person presents the challenge and the others submit their best matching answer. However, this game builds a comic strip with each round, and hilarity ensues. It's an excellent addition to our EK game collection, but will be on the "adults only" shelf.

Clear and simple instruction. We learned how to play the game in less then 5 minutes. The game provides such a good belly laugh and a very good time! This game would be great for adult party for any occasion. Dont forgot to use the bathroom before you play!

This game was SO much fun! I admit to blushing a bunch, but we were all laughing so hard that I'm not sure anyone could tell!

We have recently purchased this game to help liven up our Saturday nights and let me tell you this.... it definitely does the Job. Not going to lie I wouldn't mind a therapist telling me to do some of these answers and I do NOT recommend drinking when someone is reading them out unless that is you want to give them an early shower. So to sum up YES I highly recommend this game

Horrible Therapist was AMAZZZZZZZING!!! I had way more fun than anticipated. And this is coming from a guy who generally doesn't like NSFW type games. I laughed so much my stomache hurt. We had so many good rounds full of laughter all around. I loved how the "judge" aka therapist in this game actually had a part to play in creating the 3 slide comic. We played 3 full rounds and at the end of the night my friends all asked, "when are we playing this again?" I've never seen my friend group take so fondly, so quickly, to a new game like this one. My only suggestion would be to have your own house rule about increasing the victory points. I had a group of 5 and twice we had someone win 3 before a second round occurred. 3 seemed to few, and we all agreed.

We loved this game! I will be honest -- I did disregard the 17+ rules and had my daughter first play with a group of her friends (aged 15-16). They were literally laughing hysterically playing this game. It was so easy to figure out and the funny combinations they came up with were hysterical. I also played myself with a group of 4 of us and we loved it. I do suggest including adult beverages! I also think the more people the better! This game will definitely come with us when we go on vacation with our friends. Great for game night. Great game to bring to a party with friends (especially if adult beverages are included but are not required!).

We really enjoyed playing this on a friends getaway weekend!! It made us laugh so much. Some of the cards started getting a little repetitive - but it still made for a lot of fun!

Unless your kids are grown up! Quick games with a lot of laughs, and just a touch of that wonderful discomfort that comes with oversharing.

Fun and hilarious game. Much more enjoyable and dynamic than that black box card game.

I really wanted to love this game! After playing several times, we never came up with comics that were very funny. We had more fun *not* following the rules, and crafting our own questions, answers, and treatments from the decks. The content is definitely there and begging to be made into some wicked comics, just not as instructed. Go out of the box and make some laughs!

Horrible Therapist is seriously one of the funniest and weirdest games I've played. The whole idea of making up these ridiculous therapy comics from random cards leads to some pretty wild and laugh-out-loud combos. The Oatmeal's artwork just makes it even better, adding that extra layer of craziness. It’s super easy to pick up, and every round feels different, which keeps it from getting old. If you and your friends have a twisted sense of humor, this game is a must for game nights!
