Q: Why is this not for women? The 5% is what I am looking for and advised by doctor.

In addition, minoxidil topical solution 5% may be harmful if used during pregnancy or breast-feeding. Hope this helps! - Taylor

The FDA recommendation for men is twice a day while only once a day for women, so the packaging can specifically note it is for men if the directions on the back include the dosing recommendation for men. Women could also buy it but just use it once a day if they want to align with the recommended dosage

Q: I wish they added a picture of the back of the box. How do you even use this? Is once daily enough since it's extra strength? Do you wash it out every night? I really don't want to be washing my hair every night.
A: Hi, thank you for your question about the Up & Up Men’s 5% Minoxidil. This Men’s Minoxidil should be applied as follows: 1mL twice a day directly onto the scalp in the hair loss area. You do not have to wash the product out every night. If you desire to wash your hair, you should allow it to stay on the scalp for about 4 hours before washing.
