I absolutely loved this desk when I first received and assembled it. Beautiful color and finish, it is sturdy and spacious. Its purpose is to be my office desk, using my macbook laptop on it every day. Normal wear and tear, but note that I'm using the standard metal keyboard and trackpad. Over the next few weeks it became apparent that they used a soft wood and delicate finish; little mars in the surface kept occurring despite trying to be mindful of that; and then bits of finish flake off. Then a long deep crack developed (maybe 18" long) underneath my laptop where it was warm. I called and complained, but just ran out of energy to pursue the matter. If this were a cheap desk that would be different, but I invested $500+ in order to treat myself to what I thought would be quality furniture.

The desk is beautiful. We had a professional assemble it for us, but unfortunately the drawers stick when trying to open them.

The desk arrived very quickly. The walnut brown is a beautiful stain color. It’s exactly what I wanted. You can tell it’s not made out of glued sawdust which is so nice. I feel like it will last a while. My only complaint is that the drawers stick really badly. I have to pull really hard to open them & I feel like the handles will break off. So I just don’t close them all the way, which isn’t ideal, but it’s better than struggling or breaking it. I’ve reached out to customer service & they are looking into it.

I am very pleased with this stunning desk. It is made of all hardwood, and beautifully finished in a dark stain. The legs attach easily by hand. The handles to the drawers need to be secured with screws, and then you are done! I'm really surprised that it was priced so low. I am truly happy with the purchase, delivery, and the ease of assembly.
