This product is not as good since they changed it. Not only is it not as effective, it also leaves a nasty taste that it didn't use to have.

They changed manufacturers. This medication is no longer lactose-free or celiac friendly. I never understand why a company changes a perfectly good product.

Why did you switch manufacturers? The shape is different and it is not marked gluten free anymore?

I never write reviews, but I felt I needed to share in case someone is going through similar symptoms. About 10 years ago, when I was 38, I started experiencing acid reflux “colds” and was prescribed Prilosec by my doctor. Along with taking Prilosec, I drastically changed my diet and lost about 10 pounds. After about six years of feeling better, I fell back into my old habits. At first, my symptoms were manageable, just the occasional headache, which I’d treat with Tylenol or Aleve. But over time, I learned that my headaches were actually being triggered by acid reflux, and eventually, even Prilosec stopped working for me. I also read about some concerning side effects of long-term Prilosec use. In desperation, I decided to make a complete lifestyle change again. I started taking famotidine (Pepcid) only as needed, for example, if I knew I’d be eating fried foods. After reading reviews and blogs on acid reflux management, I realized I had to take control of my health. I found that doctors didn’t offer much help beyond medications. Pepcid was a game-changer, and it’s considered safer than Prilosec or Nexium. Now, I avoid foods that trigger my acid reflux during the week, and I only take famotidine if I’m planning to eat something risky on the weekend. Changing my lifestyle completely has made a huge difference in how I feel. Eating a cup of kale massaged in olive oil daily was another game changer. I hope this helps anyone in a similar situation. Great for pregnant women who suffer from heartburn. My doctor told me about these during pregnancy and it was a game changer. (She told me to take one before I ate and it would fight the heartburn)

It’s the best for fighting that terrible heartburn that you get after every good meal. Just take one and don’t worry about having that terrible feeling of burning in your throat!

I don’t like this particular brand of famotidine. This just doesn’t work well for me. Equate brand of the same strength works sooo well

I’ve been using this brand of Famotidine daily for the past few years and it does a great job of helping to control my MCAS (mast cell activation syndrome) when taken with cetirizine. I know most people probably take this for heartburn and indigestion, and thankfully it has also helped me with that. I haven’t experienced heartburn or acid reflux since starting this medication, and I used to deal with it often. The price point is great.

I love the affordability of this compared to other name brands. It works just as well. I use this almost daily ever since I turned 30..

I am unfortunately at the age where I regret every time I go out without this medicine. If I eat a heavy meal or drink any alcoholic beverages my reflux kicks in. Luckily this works for me! I should probably follow up with a GI doctor sometime soon, but for now this keeps my symptoms under control!

Works great for a great price

My doctor has recommended I take famotidine as needed for heartburn. I buy this Up & Up brand because it is priced so much cheaper than the similar name brand. Especially if you buy a twin pack.

This medication helps eliminate discomfort caused by reflux. I typically take it in the evening or after a meal which works for me. I sleep without discomfort.

The price is great. This works just as well as the more expensive named brand product.

The value of these tablets for the effectiveness is fantastic.
