My daughter received this for christmas, but it didnt open out the box. We assumed it was just a faulty cord, but when I bought another one from Amazon, we found that it was the amp input that was faulty. We tried to exchange it for another one. My daughter loves it! But they dont have them in store.

Got this for Christmas for my 7 year old daughter and its FIRE 🔥 My 20 year old now wants one! The AMP at first did not light up or work but that's because the battery slot is to large to reach the ends of the 9 vault battery. I folded a small piece of cardboard and wedged it in their and it works like a charm and it's AMAZING!!!! I highly recommend this set. The strap is cheap but the bag and extra strings are all great!!

As I was tuning the guitar, one of the strings broke. (Guitar hadnt even been played yet.) The fao Schwartz sticker on the headstock immediately started peeing off. Amp power light turns on but no sound comes out at all.

Purchased because it was the #1 item on daughter's christmas list but very poor quality. Out of the box, the amp would not run on battery power and it does not come with a power cord. We found a cord and it worked with that. Also almost immediately after she started to play with it, both screws holding the strap buttons to the guitar came out and won't stay screwed in. Will be returning.

The guitar itself is solid, pretty, and awesome for a kids guitar. The strap would be better if it was adjustable. The bag it comes with is great as are the decorations for the guitar. The amp is useless though. You can barely hear the sound coming out of if no matter what we do.

The amp will not play the guitar sound. Guitar seems sturdy and good. Amp won’t work. No sound comes out when on and guitar is plugged in.

I would give this zero stars if I could. It was our big gift from Santa this year. My daughter was super excited, but it does not work. The amp will not work, the light turns on but no sound comes out. Now I have to explain why Santa’s gift doesn’t work. Target does not have anymore in stock, so they cannot exchange, and they will not refund me without returning the item. I’m now also having to explain why we have to give Santa’s gift back without getting another one in return that does work. Really disapppointed!

First day using (Christmas Day) and it already isn’t working properly.. the amp is shorting out and coming in and out constantly. Disappointing to say the least.
