Q: The description says the curling iron lights up, it does not. There's not a place for a battery for it... is this a typo?

Loved tge item itself. Purchased as a gift for my 3yr old make up/hair stylist. The items are realistic. And goo size for small hands. My only complaint is Target employee lack of thoughtful packaging wedging the box with no wrap, pillows. Corners of beautiful pink box damaged. No one wants to present a damaged gift

Picked this up as our little one loves hair brushes and doing her hair like a big girl. It is packaged very nicely and great for a gift. I will tuck this away from Christmas as our daughter is a little young for it. Love all the options for her to use while I do my hair. Usually, kids sets come in cardboard colorful boxes, which are not suitable for continued use. This set comes in a case, which is perfect for both playing and storing the tools. The set includes a pretend hair dryer, 2 styling caps, 2 brushes, a pretend curling iron, and a pretend flat iron. Everything looks like real tools. The white and red colors are so stylish and cute. My 5 years old daughter loves to pretend that she is a hairstylist and loves to play with this set. Two AAA batteries needed for the hairdryer, they were not included.
