Q: Why does this list narwhals near Antarctica? They live in the Arctic Sea. Seems confusing for my child.

Amazing. Mg son is autistic and 5. He’s delayed in areas and even though it’s a little young it’s amazing for learning. He won’t leave it alone. Great product and not expensive. Teaches a lot. Requires 3 batteries

It’s different from the regular ABC toys with the atypical graphics of apple, bats, cows, etc. it features animals around the world! And don’t let the “mat” appearance fool you. It’s got a full panel of interactive features that engage learners to spell the names of the animals, point to them, recognize letters. For example :”point to the chimpanzee.”; “what letter does chimpanzee begin with?”; “point to the letter C”. Fun! My older kids even play with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son started Kindergarten this year , and this is a great "toy" that really makes learning enjoyable. It has many different categories ( spelling, finding, quizzing) and really helps learning the different animals, where they live and how to spell them and helps with letter identification. It can be used as a tabletop mat or hung in the wall( it has sticky tabs and a hanger included. Great learning tool for little animal lovers!

I have to say that she has been learning a lot from all the fun interaction the toy has to offer. They toy is very easy to use, it very colorful, its light weight and made very well. I would highly recommend this for anyone who has a small child who learns by a hands on interaction experience.

You can't even feel the buttons you just touch the board and it says the alphabet or animal names it even helps kids spell. FAO SCHWARZ has made the most awesome learning board for kids. The learning board has bright coloured animals and letters you can really understand what the board is telling you.

It has 4 different settings, so basic letter identification all the way through spelling. It does take up a lot of space, but it is big enough that little fingers can accurately touch different letters in the map. My only concern is that the animals are constant, so I worry my kids (3 and 6) will get bored of it. Would be cooler if the animals were more dynamic.

There are 5 different play modes that are going to grow with her over the years! Right now, she’s focused on the Animal Alphabet mode. She’s learning each letter and associating a new animal with each letter. It’s versatile in that we can hang it up or lay it on the floor for little hands to better reach. As a parent, my absolute favorite thing about this interactive map is that the volume is adjustable!

It plays songs and games with letters and animals. The buttons can be a little difficult at times. It comes with Velcro on the back for hanging.

It's something they can enjoy by themselves, An adult doesn't need to tell them what the letters are or the animals. The touch pad is great they just touch a letter or animal and it tells them what they are.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This learning board is more of a mat than a board. I like that it can be folded for easy storage or hung up. I chose to hang it and for now it’s staying put. I hope when I choose to take it down the paint doesn’t get damaged. My little one likes electronics and I like that this is interactive but without screen time. I also like that there are a few different options for activities. I did not like that some of the letters are hard to understand. For example I thought it said to select U, which I did twice and both times it told me I was wrong but then I realized it actually said Q. Also when it instructs you to spell some of the animals, especially the ones with really long names it’s sometimes hard to find the letters and you can get timed out. I guess this becomes less of an issue the more familiar you become with the board.

Your children, grandchildren will love this. Great for using in school . They will discover the letters of the alphabet while learning how to spell, sound the words out. Each letter has a sound and gives the sound of each animal. , they will also discover where each animal comes from. This is a multiple learning tool which happens to be fun. You can easily attach this to a wall for hours of learning fun. Bold bright colors are attractive to the children. This is a must have product. I will definitely tell people about this product and be purchasing another 1 for our grandson.

You can teach and learn alphabets. Plus animals.I love when kids come visit mine. I play school with them And teach them a lot. So this toy will help out.
