Q: Does it have any scent to it? My previous can of faultless has a faint scent I don’t like.

submitted by lindaSF - 1 month ago
  • A: Yes, this product has a light, freshly laundered scent.

  • A: HHi, yes it has a strong scent (like a strong dryer sheet scent). I just bought it yesterday and the scent is too strong for me.

Q: Does this product actually contain starch? The ingredients don't look like starch, but I need to be sure it won't attract bugs because items will be stored.

submitted by Kathy - 3 years ago
  • A: Spray starch used to be made from corn but was found to attract bugs who nibbled on the fabric for the taste of the corn. Spray starches are no longer made from corn so it is not a problem.

Q: What fabrics can you use this on and not use this on? I am doing a project with neckties and some are silk but I would like them a little stiffer?

submitted by highteaforalice - 8 months ago
  • A: This product is best used on cotton, wool and other washable fabrics, but not on dry clean only items.

Q: Can I use a steamer instead of an iron for this spray? And if I wash the shirt do I have to reapply the spray?

submitted by JS - 9 months ago
  • A: For best results, we recommend using an iron. Yes, if you wash the shirt you will need to reapply the spray.

Q: Will this product,Faultless spray starch, make clothing items very stiff,or will it necessitate ironing as well, and if so how heavy is the starch for making certain that items will hold?

submitted by Rep 4 - 2 years ago
  • A: Hello, this item makes ironing faster and easier! If you desire less hold, spray before ironing. If more of a hold is desired, spray before and after ironing.
