Most uncomfortable chair ever and can't put the footrest down.

I'm 5'3" and 72 years old, and this is the most uncomfortable chair I have ever sat in. It is rock hard and provides absolutely no back support. My back is killing me within minutes. Also, my feet don't touch the floor when I'm in it. It's necessary to put up the footrest, which makes no difference in the back pain; but once up, I am completely unable to put the footrest down again without climbing awkwardly out of the chair with the footrest up and trying to push it down manually, which usually takes at least 3 or 4 attempts. I won't even sit in it anymore. My 5'7" daughter says the chair isn't that uncomfortable for her and she is able to put the footrest down. So maybe it has something to do with my height and my age. Not for short, elderly women. The chair looks good, so I didn't give it one star.
