A: Hi Melissa, we recommend putting a duvet cover over your duvet insert to extend it's lifespan and make the chore of cleaning your bedding a bit easier and quicker. However, there is no problem with using just the duvet insert as is! It is machine washable and dryable, so it is easy to core for at home. My husband & I are both hot sleepers but love the coziness of a down comforter. This feather/down duvet comforter insert is the perfect match for us! It is lightweight but still keeps us warm (not sweaty). The material doesn’t have the crunchy sound of some cheaper ones I’ve tried. The best part, it has 8 loops to be tied to the cover securely. Not just in the corners but at the midpoints too keeping the insert securely in place.

The warmth is perfect, snug without overheating—making for a cozy night's sleep. The craftsmanship is excellent, with secure stitching and no feathers poking out... this is a big deal! I just got the All-Season insert, and we love it! I had a lightweight down duvet on the bed for the summer, but wanted something a bit heavier as we are headed into winter. I decided to try the Feather option, and once again, Bokser did not disappoint! We love this so far, and it's SO puffy - gives an insta-worthy look!

I absolutely love my new duvet! It's lux and functional. The feather down feeling has been keeping feeling tucked in and warm, however it has been so hot this past month that I ordered another one in the Lightweight, expecting a less full fill, was surpised it was still hefty, I did notice enough of a difference to justify the second one ;) The corner loops are a game-changer, as they keep my duvet cover securely in place, preventing any annoying shifting during the night.
