I bought these because I love the moonlight breeze in scent laundry booster. I feel like this item smells a little different than the laundry booster, not bad, just not the exact same. The main problem I have with it however, is over half of it evaporated in less than 24 hours. (See my pic) It doesn’t look like it leaked out anywhere on my vent or car mat below. So it’ll be empty very quickly and makes it not worth the cost at all. Also on the lowest setting the scent is still very strong/intense.

Although Febreze CAR is designed to last up to 30 days when it is on the low setting, this is an estimate. Other factors affecting how long it lasts include how high and how often the heat or air conditioning runs. Also, the scent will most likely last for less than 30 days if the intensity is high. Once the product is activated, the level of liquid will appear to drop. This is because the perfume moves to the membrane in order to release the fragrance. I have the plug in and love it so one would think the car freshener would smell the same right? Well, that wasn’t the case in my experience sadly. It smelled like tanning oil for some reason! I hate the smell of tanning oil. Smells like every alcoholic on the beach! Won’t be purchasing this one again! I love febreeze scent clips but this one was not my favorite!

It smells like pineapple gummy bears, which I absolutely love. I put all clip ins on max scent intensity & they lasted about 20 good days, not too bad in my opinion. Just off its scent alone I don’t think I’ll ever resort to any other car clip in. (The picture is the clip in FRESH out its package)

We're sorry to learn you didn't get the infamous Gain fragrance of Moonlight Breeze from your recent Febreze CAR Vent Clip purchase, Sheena. It sounds like your clips may not have been activated correctly. When you lift the back up, you should hear a click; that sound tells you the foil, holding the oil away from the scent-releasing membrane, has been pierced. If the oil isn't allowed to touch the membrane, you won't be able to enjoy the fragrance.
