This is a pretty great place to start for small home needs and projects. It does the job, its safe, and easy to use. I tried to laminate one of my national park tickets as a souvenir but it became black when it came out which is most likely because the ink on these tickets is very loose and not properly printed like documents or cards. It'd have been nice to have a document detailing what kind of documents work and what doesn't.

Thank you for sharing your experience, susana! We recommend using self-adhesive pouches with the cold setting for sensitive documents. Since this model does not feature a cold setting, we suggest self-adhesive sheets which do not require the use of a laminator. If you have any questions, please give us a call! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of my favorite tools to use for home projects because it is so simple to use and fast; no setup is required; simply plug in and get to work; I love the style and design; it heats up quickly; and I appreciate the auto shut off feature. This product comes highly recommended by a few colleagues and now me.
