Ficus Robusta Ruby Rubber Tree Plant - National Plant Network: Indoor Hardy & Lush, 48" Max Height

This is a beautiful plant but was not packaged well. There were many leaves broken off and the roots were hanging out of the bottom of the pot. The pot is way too small for the size of this river tree. I am a bit disappointed.

The plant I received was completely damaged.

Whilst I’m pretty sure that I received a ruby ficus, although I am not sure that I would consider it “robust”. At least it is a ruby color ficus, unlike some of the other purchasers that left reviews on here. Positives: I would tit arrived in a good size tall box maybe 48”x 6”x 6”. Negative: After opening the box I noticed it appears to be in only a 4” grower’s pot that was way too small for it. The roots were coming out the top of the dirt and out of the pot. Some of the leaves on the bottom had been damaged and had some kind of ick on them. I have to repot right away and prune off at least 8 leaves. Positive: It is very tall and it is red/pink whatever color you wanna call it. The pictures I have attached for review are of the plant after it was repotted leaves off of it . I tried to show a picture with a tape measure to show how tall it was. The tape measure tucked right up underneath the bottom of the pot so the plant itself from bottom of the pot to the tip (im assuming/it looks like it’s new leaf about to unfold) is about 39 inches.) At the bottom, it asked if I would recommend this to another person and it only has the options of definitely yes or no not at all ; well it’s a yes I recommend them but it’s a hit or miss on whether or not you’ll get a good plan apparently, according to other reviews, I had a good experience for the most part.

HUGE plant in great shape!!

While the product arrived intact, it is not the product described. What I received was a plain Jane non-variegated Ficus Robusta, not the Ficus Robusta 'Ruby' described here. Based on the other reviews that have come in on this product in the last week, everyone is experiencing the same issue. Disappointing; the variety I received are a dime a dozen and the 'Ruby' is hard to come by. I will be returning.

Very disappointed. This looks nothing like the website picture. Three of the 4 main branches/stems are broken at the top and leaves were already falling off. Terrible packaging as well. I order plants online all the time. They always have a dowel in the soil to prevent the plant from getting jostled. This did not, which explains why the entire top of the plant is smashed and broken. Also, way smaller than the picture online as well.

I have been waning this Ruby Rubber Plant since I saw at Armstrong last Feb 2020. But this one I just got today was nothing like its pictured. Mine came with half soil but worse thing is under leaves had bugs. I spent more time cleaning leaves and hoping there aren't any bugs. I lost 3 leaves that were damaged the rest were bent. The plant seems to be fit in 6 inch container then a quart because roots are so tiny. Overall poor Ruby Ficus

Looks nothing like what is pictured. I believe the wrong plant was sent. The one I received is healthy, just not what I ordered. Don't want to return via mail because it will probably die.
