After filling the lamp, I tried every possible configuration of lamp shade and base and O ring to cover the bulb, but could not get it to work out right. I even tried a small incandecent ceiling fan bulb to see if that worked and no matter how I configured the shade the top of the bulb peaked out over the shade like a nosy nighbor. The lamp is otherwise very cute, I just hate I'll need to go buy another shade or dismantle, empty, and hunt down tags. I think the blub assembly may not be the correct one for this lamp at the point of manufacture.

I was looking for something to do with all my kiddos tiny toys, she loved it! For those saying the bulb sticks out- make sure the shade isn’t upside down. Took a star off because the shade isn’t the best quality, but I love it anyway.

It’s been 6 months since I bought this lamp. It is beautiful and not fussy. A perfectly modern addition to most rooms. Except it’s starting to short out despite minimal use. The usb port is no longer working and the lamp is short-circuiting my outlet. I have a newer home with more than enough amps. I’ve checked the outlets, changed where it’s plugged, tested diff items - all just trying to figure out what’s going on and which thing is the culprit. Unfortunately, it’s this lamp. Skip it!

It’s a cute lamp, but poorly designed. The shade is too short for a standard light bulb (which the info says it takes) so the bulb sticks out of the top. It also wouldn’t work with my smart bulbs. Getting returned.

I so love the look of this lamp but the poor design ruins it. The light bulb is completely exposed, popping out the top of the shade, blinding all who dare to walk by. Also as others have said, the shade sits slightly uneven unless you wedge it with something.

Absolutely in love with this lamp! Can’t wait to switch out the items according to the seasons! Only con is it doesn’t come with directions on how to open it to fill. Finally figured out you have to unscrew the neck and gently ease the lid off. Word of warning-don’t pull too hard on the cord or you’ll have trouble getting it back in!
