These are great filters. Especially if you have allergies. When we lived in an apartment, the apartment complex would change our filters and give us basic filters. Then I decided to try these instead. The next time they changed them I looked at this one. It was very dirty. When they changed the other ones they hardly showed any dirt. What a difference. Now I always use these. And I'm feeling healthier.

Bought and installed this filter and I immediately noticed the difference. Before using this filter, I kept having irritation in my sinuses, runny nose, coughing, and sneezing. I had been using the standard filter provided by my apartment. When I put this filter in, my nose stopped burning. I noticed that it didn't feel like I was having an allergic reaction to the air anymore. 10/10 would recommend.

I cannot comment of how well the filter works but wanted to comment on the Fit. I purchased the 1085 Allergen Defense Air Filter in 14x14x1 , 14x30x1 and 20x30x1 sizes. None of them fit. I was able to squeeze the 14x14 sized filter by slightly bending one side but has to bend much more of the larger filters to force the fit. I previously had the basic Filtrete filters in the same sizes and they fit with no problem but I wanted to upgrade my filter. Unfortunately, the upgrades version is just slightly larger despite being the same sizes. I will return this product and either have to go with the basic filter or find a higher quality filter by a different brand .

Good MERV rating, which is something I didn't pay attention to in the past. As our AC is functioning, but not thriving, I want to be sure the furnace filters are clean--also 3 older cats, so it picks up lots of cat hair. Can easily add the date installed with a bright Sharpie pen on its frame. Recommend.

Twice the boxes were packaged in an oversized box. They were crumpled and partially opened. The replacement box was the same. Obviously fedex doesn't care about the care of the package. You may want to think about using UPS, have never had merchandise show up this heavily damaged, shipping quality control issue. I would be embarrassed if I work for that company. Sad now twice to get the replacement that is a much needed product and cant find in rhe store. The representative was very professional and listened to the same issues and frustration a second time.
