Designed with exclusive Filtrete™ 3-in-1 technology, including a high MPR 1500 and MERV 12 rating, your AC filter will help pull and capture countless microparticles – such as pet dander, smoke, bacteria and up to 55% of virus airborne particles (1) – while letting cleaner air flow through. Your Filtrete™ Filter will also capture large particles, including lint, pollen and household dust. This filter is also CERTIFIED asthma and allergy-friendly® (2). Use a 3-month pleated 1-inch home HVAC filter in your furnace, air conditioner or HVAC system. For optimal performance of your heating and cooling system or HVAC system, change your furnace filter at least every 90 days. Note: For easy replacement reminders, create a change countdown in the Filtrete™ Smart App. Simply use the app to scan the barcode on your filter’s packaging, then choose 30, 60 or 90 days for your replacement countdown. It showed up bent and busted. It’s not a good idea to send something like an air filter in a flimsy package. Put it in a box. Had to return and won’t buy filters from target again, unless in person.

My mother in law has been a long time customer of this brand of air filters. They offer mo customer satisfaction because Filtrate doesn't make it easy to speak to a capable customer service representative. Shameful when long time customers have no access to a decent customer service. I have switched to Honeywell because it is an America product with a great reputation. Customers want to feel appreciated. Not taken for granted.

Go-to filter. I change mine every 2-3 months, works well. Might decide to upgrade to 1900 just because of the smells my basement creates. Usually a tight fit, but it will do the job. Price is a little high, but everything is expensive now.

Bought the item for my place which is located not too far from a highway, and therefore I had noticed with the existing filter (not a 3M brand, which was left for me to use by the previous tenant) I was noticing even soon after having changed the non 3 M filter, I would start to have increased coughing and or eye burning, and I had a hunch that the filter was not doing an adequate job of filtering, so I looked around and I chose this specific 3M filter since it was made/assembled in the USA (to me that usually means, the item is a better quality and attention to detail is paid.) Needless to say, this item has solved all the problems, I can breath better and my eyes are not burning. The air in my home actually feels fresh. So long as this item is made/assembled in the USA, I intend to continue to buy it.
